“I recently popped into Marvin's for the first time. I wasn't familiar with the items on the menu but the gentleman (Marvin ?) working patiently guided me through my options. I decided on the "steamed bun", "6 dumplings" and a can of pop combo. It was soooo good! I will definitely be a repeat customer! The service was fast and friendly. Thank you for being so patient with me...it did not go unnoticed!“

“My partner and I are so happy we stumbled across this place. We have gone back twice in one weeks since we enjoyed the food so much. The first time we had the regular menu, then the second time the dim sum. Both times our expectations were far exceeded between the food and the service recieved. “紫龙腾in Saskatoon is one of my favorite spots! Their Sichuan-style boiled beef is flavorful and tender, the roast duck is crispy on the outside and juicy inside, the dry-pot pork intestine is rich and aromatic, and their sweet-and-sour squirrel fish is absolutely delightful. On top of the amazing food, the owner and staff are incredibly welcoming and warm. Highly recommend this place if you love authentic Chinese cuisine!“

“Honestly one of those places that never misses 😭 The shrimp with egg is literally my happy pill at this point like if I’m having a bad day, this meal can genuinely fix my mood LOL. It’s so comforting, flavorful, and always cooked perfectly.

And the tripes??? SO GOOD. If you know, you KNOW. Packed with flavor and always a must-order for me. But the squid absolutely stole the show this time because it was PHENOMENAL. Perfect texture, seasoned so well, and disappeared from the table in like 2 minutes.

Everything always tastes fresh, the portions are great, and the food comes out hot every time. This place is seriously a hidden gem and one of my favorite comfort food spots in the city. Already craving it again while writing this review 😂“
