We tried many restaurants on the way to Banff, and this is the best restaurant from Toronto all the way to Vancouver. “Great little restaurant! I always come for the Chinese donuts! They make them fresh and I could eat a bag full. I enjoyed the wood-ear salad. I haven't had a chance to try the noodles yet. Hopefully soon. The spicy Crispy tofu was almost a little too dry for me. Could have used a little moisture to make it easier to eat more of it. Overall fast & convenient service for the items they sell when I order to-go.“

“First time at Taunte Maria's. I didn't want fast food or chain restaurants. The place was full, which is a good sign. Had the breakfast special. It was simply wonderful. The breakfast you'd want to have at home but to lazy to make it. Eggs and toast were done perfectly. The bacon was awesome. Thick slices not like other places where you can see through it. Real pan-fried potatoes. AND... a little fruit cup. Cool. Large portions, inexpensive meal, friendly and fast service. A perfect restaurant experience. ?“
