This restaurant has been on my list of places to try for a while, and yet it took a different restaurant nearby being closed to actually try it. And I’m so glad we did! The menu was extensive, wonderful variety of vegetarian, vegan, and meat dishes — and also a great variety of meats to choose from. Have been here a number of times, both for their weekend buffet and a la carte menu - everything I have tried here is excellent!
My favourite food in Saskatoon! I absolutely love the biryani here! I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff are also super friendly, and even recognized me at the grocery store and said hello. They go above and beyond here.

Spicy Time is a great spot for flavorful Indian food. The menu has chole bhature, BBQ chaap, Pranthe, Lassi, Chaa, biryani, chicken tikka, BBQ dishes and chai. The chole bhature is perfectly fluffy bhature with flavorful and spicy chole that tasted amazing. The BBQ dishes are well‑cooked, nicely seasoned and full of taste. The biryani and chicken tikka are always good and fresh. The chai is rich, aromatic and one of the best parts of the meal. Portions are generous, serving sizes are satisfying and give good value for money. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Two uncles check on guests every 5 minutes and the owner and staff make everyone feel cozy and welcomed. Service is quick, takeout is packed well and the taste never disappoints. The atmosphere is nice, the quality is consistent across dishes and the overall experience is solid. Anyone who enjoys hearty meals, good BBQ and a comforting cup of chai will find Spicy Time worth a visit.
