I did not expect to get such amazing Indian food in Dalmeny! Delicious! I can't wait to try more of the menu.
So grateful to have a restaurant here in Dalmeny, with the most delicious food! We have enjoyed our meals each time we've ordered. We just finished up our latest meal -the Samosas, Chicken Corma and Beef Biryani were amazing -so flavorful and great portion sizes. Being small business owners, we know the importance of supporting local when you can! I hope we can enjoy your delicious menu for many years to come :)
Menu
The Desi Shack & Donair serves authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine that impresses customers with its impeccable service. This small "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant, located in a former Macs convenience store, offers surprisingly great food at affordable prices. The chicken platter and falafel are highly recommended, with everything in the platter being "to die for." The Panipuri, Samosas, and the popular golgappe transport customers back to the taste of India. Many enjoy the Veggie Pakoras and Paneer Pakoras, as the Paneer Puff is a favorite, done the right way. The restaurant is known for its exceptional rice and authentic tandoori Naan, made fresh even late in the evening. With "unbelievable flavor" and "brain-punching" taste, this restaurant provides some of the best Indian food in Stoon, featuring great flavors, perfect spice levels, and sizeable portions. Customers appreciate the fast service and friendly staff, with a particular mention of a helpful lady working there. The place is cute and quaint, offering good value for money, and there are public washrooms and parking available. It is definitely worth checking out if in the area.
