All of the staff I encountered were so nice and even gave me a sample of one of the desserts before I ordered it. I ordered two catfish plates, one order of fried green tomatoes, a slice of key lime pie, and a slice of cinnacrack cake. Oh my goodness, ALL of it was so good and so filling! The catfish filets didn't need any hot sauce or tartar, they were just wonderfully flavored. And the desserts? Amazing! We will absolutely be back.“

“On December 1st of 2019. My sister treated me here for my birthday and being a retired chef and residing in Nashville. I would give this place 2 👍. The food, drinks,place, and staff were A-1 and I would give it 5 stars 🌟.“

“My fiancé and I had dinner there last night and had the best experience. Ezra was our server and took great care of us. We started with the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and the award winning wings. They were some of the best wings we have ever had. Perfectly seasoned and double fried. My fiancé had the 1885 Burger and I chose the lightly battered and fried flounder with a side of mac and cheese. His burger looked and tasted amazing. It was a big and juicy burger cooked a perfect medium temp. My flounder we absolutely delicious. So light and fresh. The Mac and cheese was real Mac and cheese. Very creamy and baked with bread crumbs on top. We also really enjoyed cocktails and agree we would give the 1885 grill 5 Stars!“

“My husband and I went here while we were on our weekend getaway and we were not disappointed!!! The food was delicious. When we took the first bite we were speechless!!!! We couldn't do anything but nod our heads and point at each other!! We ordered the Trap Lord which came with a little bit of everything!!! We received wonderful customer service. This will be our go to place from now on!!! I can't wait to go back!!“

“The food was amazing. Everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed every meal we ordered! With only a few exceptions. 1. The sign out front advertised a $108 Mother’s Day special but when my parents went to order it they were told that it wasn’t available tonight. It was a typo on the board. 2. My sister, who is on a keto diet, ordered the 88 salad only to be told that they were out of salad. 3. After our dinner, my brother-in-law ordered a piece of key lime pie for my mom but once again we were told that they were out of key lime! So as great as the food is, and it was delicious, management really needs to get a better grip on what is in stock and what needs to be ordered especially on a holiday weekend!! Thank you for a great meal!!“

“Good night, y'all! The food here is GOOD! We had the Crab Cakes and the French Creole Pasta. The seasoning and sauce is where it's at. The crab cakes on top of the dirty rice with collards was so flavorful and delicious. And the seafood to penne to sauce on the pasta dish was spot on. I spooned up as much sauce as I could once the rest was gone. The chef brought out our dinner and then later the bread pudding. I've been curious about N'Awlins bread pudding, and this was a great introduction! The dish was 4 fried dough balls dusted with powdered suger served in a little iron skillet. The flavor that night was blueberry--so yummy! Thanks, y'all!“

“We loved our server, Betta! Her personality and attention was top notched! When there was a problem with our order, she was prompt in setting it right and made us feel recognized and important. The manager, Don, stopped by to check on us. On a holiday weekend, we did not feel rushed and enjoyed our delicious Easter meal. We also enjoyed the attention of our bar waiter, Mason, while we waited in our table. Overall, a great return experience at Firebirds. We will definitely be back and will definitely ask for Betta!“

“Food was good. Little pricey and need more sides to choose from 4 adult and kids. .Scallops lobster Mahi Mahi excellent. Bring oysters on half shell back please. Way to cold in restaurant. All customers were complaining and wanted heat.

“We celebrated my daughter's birthday at J.Alexander's near Hamilton Place Mall, and I have to say their carrot cake is one of the best I've ever had—rich, creamy, and a must-try for any dessert lover. The menu also offers a great variety of options for vegetarians, and the other dishes we tried were pretty good as well. It’s a fantastic spot for special occasions or just a sweet treat!“

The lo mein had no vegetables at all after the menu said vegetables and cabbage and carrots. Not a big deal. The noodles were good. The beef and broccoli was great. Fast delivery. Absolutely the best tenders I have had in years, as was the hush puppies.
