“I found Vietnam Café ! Years ago, it used to be located on Poplar to the east of Cleveland, near the McDonalds. Apparently the Kroger gas station is where it was. They've relocated and changed their name but the food is still so good.
I was searching for dry tofu like the crispy lemongrass tofu Sen Trang (Pho Hoa Binh before) since they've closed again. I found it !
The lemongrass tofu dish is so delicious, it has better flavor than the Vietnamese place closest to me. The fish sauce was so good I literally wanted to drink the rest of it I didn't use. 😄“

This place is an absolute gem! My husband has been coming here for over 10 years, and once I moved to Memphis, he introduced me — and now I’m completely hooked! The food is consistently delicious every single time we visit. The flavors are rich and authentic, and the quality never changes — it always tastes just as amazing as the first time.
The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering how much food you get. We’ve tried several other Vietnamese restaurants around Memphis, but nothing compares to this one. After a few visits, we just stopped going anywhere else — this spot has truly set the bar high!
And as an added bonus, once you’re done eating, you can stop by the little grocery store next door — it’s perfect for picking up a few specialty items or ingredients to take home.
If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Vietnamese food in Memphis, this is the place to go. You won’t be disappointed!“

“So kind, delicious, authentic. Literally the Holy Spirit brought me here and BOY were my spirits lifted. I needed a sammie, a reliable one. Not junky, but something to give me energy on this crazy busy day I had. For the price it is amazing and my new lunch spot. Very quick to order as I got a PORK BAHN MI. Thats all you need ya’ll. Also the Pho I’m sure but—dang—you guys blessed Memphis with this one.“
