“Do NOT judge a book by it's cover. I've been told this many times in my life and to be honest I did judge this by its cover. The exterior always made this establishment look a little sketchy to me. But boy was I way, way, way wrong. My party had Chinese and the Japanese hibachi and the food was fantastic. If I recall correctly the health score on the wall was 98 which is just fantastic as well. This was a great meal with great service and I will be back.“

“I got the sweet and sour chicken with an order of steamed broccoli to cure a hangover and it was exactly what I needed - the food is wonderful, and the service was so nice. I ordered over the phone and came in to pick up my order, but I was still a little jealous of everyone enjoying the buffet inside because it looked great. You can also get a chapstick on your way out, which was a nice touch I haven’t seen anywhere else. HIGHLY recommend.🥰“

“We had a delightful experience at the Asian buffet. The extensive selection of food included a raw bar where one could choose ingredients for the chef to prepare on the grill. Everything was delicious, and my teenagers especially enjoyed the sushi, crab Rangoon, meat pizza, and the banana pudding and ice cream for dessert. The staff were friendly and attentive, promptly taking our drink order and checking on us frequently. The prices were reasonable, and the women's restroom was clean and well-supplied.“

They stay pretty busy with to go orders so I’m sure the kitchen gets backed up but they give pretty unreasonable. estimation as to when food is ready and I know that so I gave them plenty of time. They told me 20 minutes so I waited 30 minutes before I left the house and then when I got there, they said there was a pick up station in the back. The two hostesses were otherwise unoccupied. The bar was empty. I walked to the very back where I saw poor door dash drivers waiting and loosing valuable time while being ignored. I stood at the empty pick up station in the far rear next to the emergency exit and looked towards all the staff that was standing around at the front. Finally, after an additional ten minutes of waiting the same hostess who told me to go to the back of the bus came and asked me if I had been helped lol. No, you sent me back here and saw me sitting there with my hands in my pocket. She asked my name and and said my food wasn’t ready. When I frustrated stated that it had already been 40 minutes she held her hand up like a teacher to stop my 40 year old mouth like an insolent child. Finally, an adult showed up and They just asked me for my name and I gave them my last name but they had it under my first name, but the person working at the desk assumed I was a rideshare driver so they treated me like they do all rideshare drivers delivery people which is very disrespectfully. However, unlike most Places nowadays, they had I an an adult in charge who came in, took over and fixed it and made everything right. That’s how stores are supposed to be run and the food is always fantastic so no reason not to give it all the stars. Don’t let a couple bad apples, spoil a whole bunch. The food was fantastic so hats off to BOH and Management for saving the day. But get your FOH in line.“

“I started going to plum tree when I was 9 years old I am now 43 we moved to Knoxville for a short while and I never would eat anything but pizza and burgers and what not we decided to go here same spot same owners. I fell in love and for the next few years we were regulars now fast forward to now same building same people and the food is still just as great and I went maybe 15 years before I ever returned because we moved back to Morristown. My kids now once a month ask when we're going back. Thank you to the owners for maintaining such awesome food and now you have became a favorite to 3 generations of my family. We loved the food and it was hot and fresh when I picked it up. As someone else said, don't listen to the haters. Also, pick it up yourself instead of relying on a delivery driver.“

“This place is great! We love it and come here as a go to. They have everything and all of it is good. Some things are quite unique and different. Anyone who rates it low I would say is just in a bad mood. Again, we come here a lot and never have had a bad item. Fresh and good and a ton of variety. They know what they are doing.“

“Went there tonight while I was waiting to get my daughter from church. The manger, I’m assuming he was the manager (wearing the black shirt) was the guy who helped me. He was very kind and fast with getting my food. (I had a few people ahead of me) but the service was quick. I had to wait a few minutes longer because they needed to cook for of the shrimp I was getting for my wife. The portions were huge and the taste was good for a fast food style establishment. Cost wasn’t terrible for the amount given. I’ll go back when we are in maryville again.“
