“We got off the interstate looking for a quick bite to eat and happened upon Waffle Taco… so glad we found it. The staff were friendly and the food was great!..And, good coffee! We’ll definitely be back on our next time through Nashville. 10/10!“

“Fantastic tacos, great service, and they liquor store nearby had a great tequila selection. Wish I knew about this place earlier.
Tortillas are grilled lightly, cilantro and onions are a bit light, but the addition of their grilled onions and jalapeños make up for that. Green salsa is flavorful, red is good too.
Pastor was the best. Great flavor and textures. Loved it. Asada and chorizo were both solid, good additions. The carnitas was not to my liking as it was more just pulled pork, there was no crisp on any part of it. Flavor was missing. Not the strong point- but everything else was great.
Covered seating and plenty of parking. Great prices.“

“Best place for for Mexican food. This is definitely not no frozen, American style of Mexican food. This is authentic Mexican food at its best. Try the tamales oh lordy they are great. Beef or chicken both awesome. Beef quesadillas are banging also. I would rate this one of the best Mexican stops I've ever had. Definitely a must-try“

“Got a breakfast bacon and egg burrito, with pico, and tomatoes, and jalapeños. Was absolutely delicious, great size it was about the size of a burrito from sonic if you've ever gotten theirs but much much better. Was only $2.79, will definitely be stopping more often to get my breakfast there.“

“I was stopping for one of the other store and saw this so i figured, ok....I'll get a couple of tacos and see how it is. It was SO good! Seriously the best tacos I have tasted in Nashville. I've not ordered anything else yet, but I certainly will be! The wait time was a little long to be honest. I ordered 4 tacos and waited 30 min, but the flavor made it worth it.“

“Very good but lately they changed the Chinese rice and they don't make it like before before it was darker rice and with shrimp. Very good excellent and now they leave it white and without any shrimp so it is not good. I hope for better because it's not just me, there must also be other people who don't like how they're doing lately. They are very good at cooking, just don't change that's not good.“

“Velvet Taco has great tasting flavor combinations, But… the tortillas are cold grocery store type. I ended up just eating the inside of my tacos with chips because the tortillas reminded me of playdoh… change the tortillas to a more authentic (cooked) tortilla and it’ll be sooo much better!!“
