“Recently, during one of my press coverages, I had the chance to visit Waffle Taco. The food was absolutely delicious, a creative fusion of Latin and American flavors with a unique and playful touch. Everything was incredibly tasty, and the service was warm and welcoming. If you live in or are visiting Nashville, Tennessee, make sure to stop by, it’s a spot worth discovering. “Fantastic tacos, great service, and they liquor store nearby had a great tequila selection. Wish I knew about this place earlier.
Tortillas are grilled lightly, cilantro and onions are a bit light, but the addition of their grilled onions and jalapeños make up for that. Green salsa is flavorful, red is good too.
Pastor was the best. Great flavor and textures. Loved it. Asada and chorizo were both solid, good additions. The carnitas was not to my liking as it was more just pulled pork, there was no crisp on any part of it. Flavor was missing. Not the strong point- but everything else was great.
Covered seating and plenty of parking. Great prices.“

“Got a breakfast bacon and egg burrito, with pico, and tomatoes, and jalapeños. Was absolutely delicious, great size it was about the size of a burrito from sonic if you've ever gotten theirs but much much better. Was only $2.79, will definitely be stopping more often to get my breakfast there.“

“I was stopping for one of the other store and saw this so i figured, ok....I'll get a couple of tacos and see how it is. It was SO good! Seriously the best tacos I have tasted in Nashville. I've not ordered anything else yet, but I certainly will be! The wait time was a little long to be honest. I ordered 4 tacos and waited 30 min, but the flavor made it worth it.“

“Velvet Taco has great tasting flavor combinations, But… the tortillas are cold grocery store type. I ended up just eating the inside of my tacos with chips because the tortillas reminded me of playdoh… change the tortillas to a more authentic (cooked) tortilla and it’ll be sooo much better!!“
