When trying to order, half rhe stuff on the menu int being sold anymore. Ten trying to substitute my salad for something else, due to cabbage allergy, server forced lettuce as a salad, so I didnt have a choice but to accept it. Atmosphere was great, service and food choice.....not so much.
I dined in. Chicken Marcella was none like I’ve ever had. Canned mushrooms, thick dark Marcella sauce that had no flavoring from the Marcella wine. The portion was large. definitely the worst I’ve ever had. The service was very slow.
Last week I ordered a Stromboli to go and it was good. I guess I need to stick with to go and maybe lean toward the pizza side of the menu.

We love going to the Gondlier. I love the salad bar w/pizza. I hate to say it, but their baked goods pizza is average. The 1st time we went I ordered chicken Marsala, and it came out a way I’ve never ever seen before. I’m not really a complainer, but it seemed barbecued? The sauce definitely was not Marsala! We moved from NYS, and maybe it’s different but I have had Chicken Marsala at other restaurants the “normal” way. Spaghetti and meatballs is incredible!! ...
