“all of the food was absolutely amazing, lots of variety on the menu, all of us liked what we ordered, the portion sizes were perfect, great value, really great service, a really nice atmosphere too, dog-friendly and the staff will even supply water and a dog bowl if you want. i really think this might be one of the best places in cookeville to go to since it has such a variety of dishes on the menu and really great value for what you order, also for the other reasons aforementioned“

“It was our first time to Spankies and I can say we will definitely go back. Our waiter Decklan was very personable and attentive! All the food was amazing. And the fried green tomatoes were the best I've had! My daughter had the fried chicken kabobs. The chicken was very juicy. It was a great find with no wait. Decklan was the best waiter we've had in awhile.

“Excellent service. Pleasant waitresses. All around great experience. The guy manager (not sure if more then one,since visiting from out of state) was absolutely FANTASTIC! My daughter injured her toe in North Carolina 5 days ago & as she was scooting into the booth she bumped it, causing it to start bleeding again. He went & got us stuff to wrap it with. Thank you 😊 so much.“

“Great spot to take a stop! Don't expect something crazy this is just a good ole local bar. They have nice pool tables cold beer and goot burgers. Even have some food for your dog. The bartender was welcoming and kind. Good spot for a pit stop!“
