“I have followed this page for quite a few years though I live in Ohio. The Mayor of Putnam County Tn. made a mention in a post and I have hoped to give them a try. Other than cooking for myself (or my Grandma's cooking), this is hands down the best southern food I have had in years. The staff was very polite. I am only disappointed that they are so far from home.“

“Employees have a great attitude, the service is very good as well as the atmosphere when you walk in the door.
I’ve not been disappointed in any pizza I’ve ordered. If in Cookeville, TN it’ll be worth stopping in to take a pizza home to bake and enjoy! You probably will not be disappointed, I know I haven’t as many times I’ve been there.“

“This is by far the best food I have ever had in Cookeville since moving here in 1994 !!!
I had the Birria Tacos and the shredded beef had a tender,juicy and smoky flavor that can't be beat.
The service was outstanding. Our server was the most pleasant and helpful. Really reminded me of our Granddaughter 😆.
This is where we will be going from now on.
Can't wait to try some of their other dishes.

“I love going here for happy hour with my girlfriends. It has a wonderful outdoor seating area and they allow dogs. The food is amazing. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries and the chicken Gyro. There was my two go too Items on the menu over the past six years I think I’ve tried just about everything on the menu no complaints whatsoever“

“It was our pleasure to dine at the Cookeville, TN Red Lobster at 1410 Interstate Dr. on December 12. Although it was our first time, our guest at the table is a repeat customer. Our Server Denise did an excellent job of taking our order and delivering our food in a timely manner. Butch, Sheila, and Flo (Leaders and Manager) were beyond helpful to us. Justin, our guest, ordered his favorite meal, which included an entire lobster. My husband and I didn’t know how to break down a whole lobster so at that point, the manager came over, sat at our table and assisted in the process! In all my years, I have never seen such personalized service and kindness shown to a customer that really was in need of assistance. I highly recommend that you take your family to this restaurant and see for yourself the outstanding service offered by this crew of people! The kindness shown to us was beyond hospitality! It certainly was more like family! We wish you and all your staff a wonderful new year! Thank you again!“

“This particular location is our favorite place to go for flawless food! We've eaten here at least a dozen times and the food is always on point. We went at 2pm on Father's day this year, the waiting area and bar were completely full in addition to every table. We were told 30 minute wait but we're seated in 10 minutes. Watching the team they have here, work together to get through that was an absolute pleasure and the food? Fantastic. They never disappoint.“

“I've never been in, so I have no clue what the dining room is like, hence the one star. But for YEARS I avoided going here bc of how sketchy it looked. But the drive through is never dead. I finally went and got the hibachi noodles, chicken, with zucchini and onions. OH MY WORD. I have NEVER had food in my car that smelled so good.... I was literally drooling. I had a 15 minute drive home and the food was still piping hot. And there was SO much food. Def worth $17.“

“It was our first time to Spankies and I can say we will definitely go back. Our waiter Decklan was very personable and attentive! All the food was amazing. And the fried green tomatoes were the best I've had! My daughter had the fried chicken kabobs. The chicken was very juicy. It was a great find with no wait. Decklan was the best waiter we've had in awhile.

“Excellent service. Pleasant waitresses. All around great experience. The guy manager (not sure if more then one,since visiting from out of state) was absolutely FANTASTIC! My daughter injured her toe in North Carolina 5 days ago & as she was scooting into the booth she bumped it, causing it to start bleeding again. He went & got us stuff to wrap it with. Thank you 😊 so much.“
