“Best BBQ EVER! Im from North Carolina and I visit friends in the area every so often. Dave’s is always my first stop. Then again in the middle of my trip and then I stock up before going home. My favorite is the ribs, potato salad, and baked beans. My kids always ask for the pulled pork. I somehow ended up with some cole slaw in my order this time and well, that’s now on my stock up list before going home. I highly HIGHLY recommend them.”

“I've got only one problem. we ask that all the dressing be on the side. so they didn't put any salad dressing on the sandwiches and didn't .put any on the side either. So when we got home we didn't have any to put on the sandwiches Amazing Firehouse subs. Best one around. Definitely much better than the Athens Tennessee one”

“My family and I stopped here randomly on a Sunday cus most other places were closed. I wasn’t aware it was a smoking bar and that kids weren’t allowed (that’s my bad, I didn’t look into it enough) but they waitress was really nice about it and told us we could sit on the patio no problem. It was really cold out there which kind of sucked, tho it was kinda cool watching trains go by, a little scary but cool lol. Honestly, the food made it all worth it. Kids, husband and father in law all got burgers and said they were super good. I got the turkey Ruben which was also delicious. I would totally stop here again (maybe without the kids next time) if I find myself in the area.”

“Ate there tonight with my twin toddlers and their Nana. The two employees, Lana and Kyleigh, were doing a great job. They were sweet to my kiddos, made sure we had everything we needed and got our food out quickly. We've eaten there numerous times since they've been open and have always experienced excellent service.”

“Good food, good beer. I wish they had more IPA’s on their draft menu. In fact I wish they had a beer menu on the table instead of only on the board behind the bar or online. The Evolutionary Theory is a great beer, but because it’s one of their favorites you only get a 12 oz. pour for the same price as a 16 oz. of most other beers. In spite of these shortcomings I really enjoy coming here and would recommend it to anyone who hasn’t been.

“I've never gotten bad food here. The employees are always pleasant and accomodating. It is a food stand so you can't say much for atmosphere, but the picnic table area is always clean. The food is nice and homemade food that you would expect from a family kitchen. Tasty, pretty flavorful, and quickly prepped. Prices have gone up some, and some items are a bit overpriced but most are just right.

Parking: adjoins a church that's only open on sundays, easy parking

Wheelchair accessibility: you can wheel up - it is on grass turf and gravel so it may be a bit of an obstacle”

“Haven't been their in years but the two times I did eat here was great delicious food,called in today for the first time in a while to order two rib plates and the person said we had to order an hour before closing my question is well why doint they have that on their web site and what's the difference between a to go order and me waiting on my food while dining in she told me they were only serving people dining in it wouldn't have cost nothing to go head a fix the order out of courtesy for those who didn't know the cut off to go order time very disappointing because we were on our way there.”

“Stopped at Carrabelle's on a Saturday night while passing through Dayton. Katie, our server, was extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered the pretzel appetizer with honey mustard and queso to start. The pretzels were perfect. So soft on the inside and delicious. For my entree, I decided on the Pan-seared Mahi Mahi, baked potato and side house salad for my 2 sides of choice. The fish was perfect. Baked potato was great, and the salad was all fresh. This was a delightful stop on our trip. Menu had plenty to choose from. Our food did take a little while to arrive, but I personally don't worry about that if the food is good, and this was worth the wait.”
