“Despite some lukewarm reviews for the brisket, I decided to get some for my anniversary. Ordered some takeout along with the pork rolls that my wife loves. She and I were crazy about the brisket, tender and juicy. Will definitely order it again. BTW, I liked the atmosphere of the dining area. I believe we have a local BBQ place that Memphis folks would want to make the drive for.”

“Happened to be in Covington and was checking restaurants near by and saw Pappy and Jimmy's. Same owner as the one that was in Memphis, but not seafood anymore, no lobsters in a tank. It's now Southern Home Cooking. Service was great, food was great. A real diamond in the rough if you're looking for some good Southern Food.”
