She and I were crazy about the brisket, tender and juicy. Will definitely order it again. BTW, I liked the atmosphere of the dining area. “Great place for coffee and meal! We had the Flannel Jacket and a Cappucino. Both were very good, not too sweet. For meals we had the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant - delicious. The other meal was the ham, egg, and cheese everything bagel. Again very delicious. 10000% will be coming back.”

“Happened to be in Covington and was checking restaurants near by and saw Pappy and Jimmy's. Same owner as the one that was in Memphis, but not seafood anymore, no lobsters in a tank. It's now Southern Home Cooking. Service was great, food was great. A real diamond in the rough if you're looking for some good Southern Food.”

“Came in about 3pm or so on a Saturday. Lunch crush was over. Seated immediately. Chips and salsa on the table quickly and my drink was served very quickly.

They offered the lunch menu despite the fact I was a bit late. The fajita bowl was awesome. My waiter noticed the first 2x1 margarita was nearly gone and brought my second before I even asked. Just amazing, awesome service and superb food.”
