J Frank Bristol Reviews
Service was a little off, first choice was not available, although food was still excellent
My wife and I recently visited J Frank after hearing great things and having it on our list for a while. We made the short trip to Bristol with high expectations, and while there were certainly highlights, the overall experience was a bit underwhelming.

Went for Father's day brunch. It was a buffet, and the food was fantastic!
J Frank Bristol is a fine dining restaurant located in an old Victorian home in the Tri-Cities area. The food is consistently great, with delicious homemade dressings, dry-aged steak, and fantastic sides. The ambiance is relaxed and cozy, with a unique layout. Service is outstanding, with attentive staff. Guests can enjoy a large outdoor patio area with live music on weekends. Sunday brunch is highly recommended. The restaurant offers a charming and well-executed atmosphere, perfect for special occasions like a 50th wedding anniversary where everything was perfect, including amazing food, special drinks, and exceptional service. The room is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to celebrate. While the overall experience is usually positive, some dishes like the trout dip are standout favorites. The dry-aged steak is a highlight, though some plates like the Caesar salad and sides may sometimes fall short of expectations, lacking flavor or presentation. Desserts such as crème brûlée are good, but not exceptional for the price. The outdoor patio provides a lovely setting, especially with live music on weekends. Although some experiences may be just okay, the charming atmosphere and attentive service make J Frank Bristol a recommended spot for both locals and visitors seeking a memorable dining experience in a romantic setting.
