I spent 2 weeks in Tennessee and found J Frank on trip advisor. Saturday night they open at 5pm, I walked in at 5:30 without a reservation and was promptly seated. The first thing I noticed was that despite being a white table cloth restaurant my self determined underdressed attire was not an issue. The customer activity picked up after 6:30 and I would recommend a reservation later in the evening. I was seated on the second floor where it was quiet. Visiting from DC, we decided to have a nice dinner and drinks and were very pleased with J Frank’s. The filet was tender, duck fat fried potatoes were outstanding and the service was top notch. Will return again on our next visit and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience for my mothers birthday on June 5, and Jason the chef is incredible. Ask for him, and he is the most personable chef you will find. We had Josh as our server and he was equally as professional and incredible. Recommend him highly. Best restaurant in Bristol.
