I’ve eaten catfish all over the United States It doesn’t get better than Riverside Diner. Awesome southern food cooked up exactly right. Every thing in the plate is delicious! And always with a smile. Really one of the treasures of the upper South.

The restaurant is described as a great family-friendly option, with a good atmosphere and a beautiful view of the nearby lake. Customers have enjoyed the sides served family style in larger bowls, including fries and coleslaw. While the onion rings were not a hit with one reviewer, the overall consensus is that Catfish Kitchen is an all-around wonderful establishment, especially for those who love fried catfish. The catfish is noted as hot and perfectly fried, with the option of a spicy version, and the restaurant takes care to consider food allergies by using soybean oil.
