I have eaten at Ankar’s since the 1980’s. When I come home to Chattanooga, I always go to the Hwy. 58 location & get a steak in a sack with Swiss cheese and an order of onion rings. I just got one today. My Dad had told me it wasn’t as good as it used to be. I got my favorite today & ate one dry, disgusting onion ring. Ate here tonight and the staff needs customer service training. Ordered a sandwich with onion rings. Got the order and they gave me fries. I let them know I ordered onion rings and said I paid for fries. I did pay for fries but stated I’d like to have onion rings. They said it would be an up charge and I said ok and paid $2 more. I ordered Philly Cheese Steak n got Philly Chicken bread was hard on one side.Other person got Steak in pita n it tasted like meat was bad.We ate as much as we could cause didn't want to make a scene.Want b back or recommend to anyone
