I ordered out meals to eat her and some to go . The meal was cooked and bagged and put under a heated area , then our food arrived at our table . Very good food for there . Then we ordered some dessert to go which seemed to irritate the waitress . When I ordered my meal , I asked for half and half tea . This is genuinely the worst restaurant in Chattanooga. I am not just on here as a one time customer. I loved city cafe for a long time. I had my first date with my wife at city cafe. The first meal after my wedding was at city cafe. I have a special relationship with this establishment. However after the last couple visits and door dash mess ups I am done with city cafe! I would not let my dog eat in their restaurant. DO NOT EAT HERE!

My wife and I got an order here when we stayed at the adjoining motel this past week. I got an Italian omelet with home fries, which was perfect in flavor (my wife tasted the omelet and agreed), and was large enough for a second meal. She absolutely loves the biscuits. Also, the service was fantastic.
First time we ate there, but not the last. It's worth driving from Indianapolis to enjoy. Note - if you stay at the adjoining Best Western Heritage Inn, you get a 10% discount.
