I’ve been a loyal customer of this café, spending hundreds of dollars here on lunch and drinks. Today I came in with my Stanley cup, filled it with water and ice (which is free), and added just a small splash of lemonade for flavor. The owner (male) confronted me in a rude, condescending tone, saying I should pay or ask first and that he has watched me do it — and did so loudly in front of my boss.
