One word. Consistent. They don't have "off" days. As someone noted, it's not ever fancy, but it is ALWAYS good. My family has been going here for years. Same people always working so that should tell you something. I'd go just for the salsa.
La Altena is the only place in town we go for Mexican food and we go at least once a week, every week. Delicious, fresh authentic food that comes out of the kitchen super fast. The service is great - everyone who works here is super friendly and attentive. We’ve been eating here for 14+ years and highly recommend to everyone.

my boyfriend and i experienced the eclipse at this restaurant and it was beautiful! the food was so delicious, had my mouth watering.. the chips and salsa were also my fav! would DEFINITELY come back again for affordable prices and yummy food. 10/10 customer service as well!
