A friend is a master at finding out of the way, hidden spots no one would ever see and I called for a Chattanooga recommendation and he said “Lois’ Restaurant “it doesn’t look like much but the food is great” and he was right! The ribs were fall-off-the-bone excellent as were the greens and everything. Trust the reviews and go see Ms. Lois. She’s the REAL THING!
It's been awhile but if you're a chittling fan, this place is off the hook. A bit pricey but Miss Lois sure can make 'em. Now I'm a Connecticut Yankee transplant since 1992 and these are the best .

I enjoyed my food was with my husband and myself.We wanted to try Tennessee soul foodWe ordered theHam hock and cabbage and turnin greens.Chillerlings yams and cabbageChop steak and macaroni and had cornbread with hot sauce and onion and tomato.I loved Ms. Lois a lot.She so sweet and her heart is so good.She prayed with us and I loved that so so much. I pray she gets many customers.Place is older but don’t judge the place .The cooking speaks for itself.
