Awesome food. The serrano margaritas are fantastic. First time trying this place, we definitely will go back in the future. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. It was nice to see more traditional type food rather than the same old menu that is common around town.
Delicious food and wonderful, friendly service! Highly recommend!

Mestizo Cocina + Cantina is a restaurant that offers a dining experience with great tasting food and everything you look for in dining. It begins with parking, with ample parking spaces close to the door and a clean lot. Guests are met quickly and politely, seated with menus, and served by prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable servers who check back often. The menu features interesting Central American cuisine and Latin food rarely found, with a great selection of Guatemalan and Mexican food. Dishes include papusas, maturitos, tamal de elote, rellenitos, Garnachas, Hilachas, Pepian, ceviche, atol de elote, birria tacos, Parrillada, and skirt steak. Everything is fresh and full of flavor, with fresh ingredients, hand-made corn tortillas, fresh salsa, and fresh-made chips. Portions are ample, and the food quality is very good. The atmosphere is very casual, and the inside is gorgeous. The restroom is clean and neat. This is a great choice for brunch, with fusion entrees at a reasonable price.
