“I recently stopped by Las Tortugas with 3 other coworkers on a Thursday afternoon, and it ended up being one of those meals that you keep talking about long after you leave. The restaurant was not overly busy, which made the entire experience relaxed and enjoyable from the moment we walked in.

The first thing that stood out was the service. Everyone there was welcoming, patient, and genuinely friendly. Since it was our first time trying a few things on the menu, we had several questions, and the staff took the time to explain everything without making us feel rushed. They gave recommendations, explained the toppings and flavors, and helped make ordering easy.

I decided to try the specialty hot dogs, and honestly, they were amazing. They were packed with flavor and loaded with fresh toppings that worked perfectly together. The combination of creamy avocado, fresh vegetables, sauces, and perfectly cooked meat created a unique flavor that was both fresh and filling. Every bite had something different going on, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality and made with care. The presentation alone looked incredible, but the taste backed it up completely.

The atmosphere was comfortable and casual, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy good food with family or friends. Nothing felt rushed, and the overall vibe made the experience even better.

If you are looking for something different from the usual restaurant options and want flavorful food with friendly service, Las Tortugas is definitely worth visiting. We will absolutely be coming back again.“

With an assortment of sauces and toppings that can suit even the most discriminating tastes there’s something for everyone. They also have gluten-free options. So there’s no excuse to not enjoy one of the best, and freshest pizzas in town.“

My keys were lost and when I tell you they were amazing in helping locate them after a hour of searching!!! They went through the trash, looked under the tables and even went to make sure my car was still outside. Customer service at its best! Guys thank you so very much. We are forever grateful!!“

“The food is always great here, no complaints with that. The lighting kind of bothered me however because it was way too bright in there. The ambience would be a little better if the lights were toned down a bit. But other than that I think it’s a great spot to grab a bite to eat with family and friends!“

“My small family & I came here for the first time ever, and it was a great experience, from the service to the food. We tried the Funky Q and Shiitake pizzas. The portions of them are pretty big, and it brought some relief about choosing a small because there’s no way we would’ve finished a medium or large 😅. I also recommend the spinach dip, too; it’s so delicious as an appetizer. Our waitress was amazing as well, big kudos to the staff altogether. We will definitely return to try other pizzas. We asked for guidance from Tim, he went above and beyond to assist us with our menu selections. He was patient, helpful and very knowledgeable. Great food, great staff, fast service, and Tim. “It’s really sad that this location is the only location in Memphis and the service and the food is awful!! My Mom ordered a burger that looked like it was prepared the day before and partially heated to serve yesterday. I sent my order back because someone from the kitchen staff took my food to the wrong table and then tried to bring it to me. It’s apparent that their staff isn’t properly trained; they should know which table to deliver the correct order to. I’ve been patronizing Raffertys for years; however, yesterday was my last dining experience with them. I spoke with a manager; however, her facial expression said, I really don’t care.“
