Their employees are intoxicated and that alone is crazy and unprofessional!
My family and I experienced a deeply disturbing and racially incident at Huey's Restaurants (Poplar Location) as we were waiting on our table. One of their visibly intoxicated guests arrived and hit my car door due to parking in a tight space. I approached him and asked him if he’d move his truck because the space was tight and his girlfriend had already hit my car door twice trying to get out. Based on the reviews, Huey's Collierville is an American bar style grub spot with a great pub atmosphere. The food includes World Famous Huey Burger, Smashburgers, fried pickles, chili, and onion straws. The burger was thick, juicy, and cooked well, while the chili had plenty of flavor but was very mild. The food was decent and came out on time, though it can take a little while. The experience is excellent for families and teens, with activities like music bingo. The bartender was fantastic, extremely engaging with a magnetic personality. Servers are super personable and awesome, making sure guests are well taken care of. Guests can bring a sharpie and tag the wall. It was a good time and a wonderful first impression.
