“They always have honest,good food. I just had both the ham and the turkey dinner plates and was extremely happy, ham was perfectly cooked with an excellent pineapple glaze. Turkey was moist and flavorful. Cornbread dressing excellent. Unbelievable tastes at an extremely affordable price. A fraction of what other restaurants were charging. Way to go !!! “Had to wait 10 minutes for a table but there were plenty of open booths and tables. Our waitress checked on us one time and did not bother to refill our drinks. Also, it was pretty noisy.

“I recently dined here and as usual, the food was delicious, well prepared and very satisfying. I had the popcorn shrimp platter that is more than enough to satisfy anyone. Our server, Cody, was very attentive, polite and checked on us often to ensure everything was satisfactory and if we needed anything. The hush puppies are the best that I’ve had and the pickled tomatoes offered as an appetizer paired well with the salad and the hush puppies while waiting on the entree. Keep up the good work!!!“

“We used to be 'RT regulars', but something changed a couple years ago . . . service went downhill. 3 separate times in 2023 we went there, walked in, no hostess to greet us, and waited at least 5 minutes. Each time the place was empty . . . vacant tables everywhere. We'd make eye contact with a server or bartender, but still no acknowledgement that we were there. Each time, after no one bothered to acknowledge us and seat us, we left. We saw other customers do the same. It was bizarre!
After 2 years of becoming 'Applebee's regulars', we decided last night to give RT one more chance. What a pleasant surprise! We were greeted and seated quickly, our sever (Jordyn) was fantastic, and the food was as good as we remembered it from years ago. The restaurant was fairly empty . . . perhaps a lot of former customers had the same bad experiences we had, and haven't come back. Based on our experience last night, I would say definitely give them another shot. We will definitely return.
(Why not 5 stars? There was no draft beer available. My chair was wobbly to the point I thought it might collapse. And the neon sign outside had several letters burned out . . . not a good message to potential customers driving by and looking for a place to eat. )“
