They treated us kindly though we were a bit rude for making them wait! Oh, and the cocktails were well balanced and refreshing. This hidden gem was kinda busy on a Tuesday so you may want to call ahead or make reservations. It will be totally worth it!“

“We would happily drive by all the fast food burger joints just to come here for the French fries alone. For us they have much better fries here than any fast food restaurant in middle Tennessee. The burgers are fresh, delicious, loaded with toppings and are not smashed to the point of being burned up like other smash burgers. Just great tasting well cooked burgers. They offer a lunch special which includes a single burger, fries and the perfect self serve Coke Cola products including cherry coke and Dr Pepper. “BrickTop's Cool Springs has a wide range of really good food at affordable prices. The entire staff from the top down are all amazing. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and very welcoming. Some of my favorites dishes are the fish tacos, grilled shrimp tacos, and so many other dishes at BrickTop's. The avocado toast and the donuts that are only served for Sunday Brunch are a favorite as well.“

The majority of restaurants that ae visited, have new items added and in 6 yrs. this menu remains the same. Perhaps maybe I should go somewhere else to eat. “This restaurant was a lovely surprise! I had been wanting to go here for a while. I got more than what was expected. I think the lady who took care of us was Ella. Then the guy who brought us our food was Noah, and both of them were so friendly and kind. The food was delicious. Several people came by to check on us at our table. It didn't take super long to get our food and they were very busy. We waited longer in the line to order, but it was so worth the wait. Pictures of what we got at the bottom.

“We just celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary dinner on Friday evening. We were impressed from the moment we sat down at the table. Our main server was Demetrius and Bella was the one who cut our chops and explained about the chop as she did the cutting. Vernon was not our server yet stopped by a few times just to make sure all was well. Everyone who came to the table told us Happy Anniversary and to let them know if there is anything we needed. The food was delicious, ambiance was wonderful and the staff made our meal special to us. This was our first time and we will highly recommend to all our friends and we WILL be back😊“

“My family loves this little gem right in downtown Franklin. My husband is British and this is his go to place when he wants a taste of home - especially fish and chips (he says the tartar sauce seals the deal). We’ve sampled other staples like cottage pie and chicken tenders and everything has been lovely. The dining room is small and cozy so sometimes it’s a bit crowded (especially on trivia night) but we’ve rarely had a problem squeezing in. Waitstaff is friendly and the decor really sells the Irish pub atmosphere. I don’t usually order drinks beyond an occasional hard cider, but there are lots of offerings which I am sure are equally as good as the food.“

“After a day of soccer, we found Scout's down the street from the fields. It's located in a cute town square area with a pond, swings, and grassy area for kids to play. We had a large group of 9 and they seated us right away. We chose to sit on the patio to enjoy the warm afternoon sun and breeze. It's a dog-friendly spot, and our kids loved petting the other guests' dogs (asking for permission of course). The inside is cute as well, but it would have been a little crowded with our larger party. But I could imagine hanging out with friends at the bar or on a date night with my wife. Scout's has a large and diverse menu, so everyone was able to order something to their taste. My son had a smash burger and appetizer of fries, cheese curds, poutine and bacon, my daughter had chicken tenders and Mac N Cheese, I had pizza, and my wife ordered taquitos. They also have a full bar and several craft beers to choose from. I had the Good People IPA, which is one of my faves. The service was excellent. Our server, Lauren, was friendly and attentive. Grabbed empty plates quickly, refilled waters & sodas without asking, and was ready to bring us the next round at just the right time.“

“Have been to Longhorns many times, tonight we were very disappointed. My husband and I both ordered a 9oz filet and I will tell you we were not served filets. You know how filets are supposed to be melt in your mouth steaks. These were not. Didn’t complain my bad. Sad so wanted a good steak.“

“It's cute and food is decent. DEFINITELY attracts tourists coming to Franklin.

Where I had the chicken salad sandwich, which had just the right amount of mayo (some places make it too creamy), I think it was just okay with flavor. Very mild - I think the chicken was over processed so there were no chunks in it. The celery was so small you could see it but couldn't taste it. Personally, I like my chicken salad with craisins in it or chopped up grape or apple, even some pecans or walnuts.

But you got to make everybody happy so this would be the way to do it.

They're egg bread / white bread is absolutely delicious. Soft and melts in your mouth.

Friends I went to lunch with had the pot pie, which she said was fair. She said the hash brown casserole was incredible.

Would I return? Sure, when visitors come from out of state to see Franklin. It's only been the second time in 13 years that I've been there so that says something.

“The food was good. I highly recommend the turkey club. We were a party of four, two of us got it. The next night, we both wanted the turkey again, but they were out. I don’t know what the magic is, but I hope it’s on the menu next year when we’re back. Only downside was the long wait, either for a table or service; I think they were short handed.“
