“Legends is a Shelbyville staple. You can expect warm rolls a plenty and the signature fruit tea to flow. This restaurant gives the welcoming small town feel. For a Sunday night there was no wait for party of five and there was plenty of parking as well.
I have not had many items on their menu but | decided to try the queso chicken skillet this time around. It came out sizzling which was a good sign. I opted to get the spinach cheese on the side which was a good decision if I do say so myself. Overall the chicken had good flavor and was tender. The mixed peppers and onions also added to the dish. I think the queso and pico on top of the chicken is an unwelcome curve ball especially since the pico was cold. Additionally, I loved that I got two sides that came with the entree. This time I got a Cesar salad and fries. All in all we had a great time a the service was great.“

“My experience at Captain D’s for the second time has been an absolute pleasure. I was greeted with a warm welcome I believe by a manager. Who did a great job. The welcoming, calm and clean family friendly atmosphere is awesome. The young lady who runs and takes care of the front counter and lobby does an Amazing job.
