“The place may be uncomfortably small inside, but man, the food is delicious! We were in town sightseeing when we noticed it was lunch time. After a quick search on Google, this came up. Due to the great reviews, we decided to give it a shot. Thank goodness we did! Everything we ordered was beyond delicious!! The pretzel bites? Salty and crispy on the outside, yet soft and airy on the inside. Chicken tenders and chicken sandwich? Both cooked to perfection, and the breading was fantastic! The fries and homemade chips? The best i have had in such a long time! The food was so amazing we had to order some baked goods to go to know if it was just as wonderful. (They most definitely are).I really didn't know what to expect from the Blue Chair Cafe & Tavern, but you guys exceeded them. This food alone will have us stopping back whenever we visit Tennessee again!“
“After having a lot of fried food in Nashville, our group was looking for a little bit of a lighter fresher meal during our stay in Tracy City. We found Greens View Grill on google and thought the food looked fresh! As soon as we arrived, we met Brent, who happened to be working the bar that day. He was full of incredible stories and recommendations, and his knack for customer service was as natural as it was amazing! We would definitely come back to the grill, even if just to chat more with Brent!“
“Well, 9 of our Thirsty Thursday crew met up on Friday night at the Shakerag Restaurant in the Sewanee Inn. First off the decor there is worth the trip even if you don't eat there, but we did! Usually it's hard to get seating for 9 folks but we were accommodated as soon as we arrived. The host, servers and manager waisted no time getting everything ready and we were seated.Waiting on one couple we ordered drinks and they were out in a flash. Great selection and very well made! We visited and had a great time and got our orders in when the couple arrived.The menu selection was great and everyone seemed to get something different. Appetizers of Pork Belly, Brussel Sprouts and Sweet Potato Fries were ordered and were excellent. All of the entrees were fantastic and everyone loved their orders. Our server was awesome and the manager came, checked on us and we all gave him a "big" thumbs up!!This is a definite "do again" place whether it's the group, couple or single!!“
“We went on a really busy Saturday they were swamped with a tennis camp, but they handled it well. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. It's nice they have inside and outside areas to eat. Definitely recommend stopping in for a great sandwich!Kid-friendliness: They had free popcorn and outside area to eat and hang out, kids loved that.“
“This was an accidental find on recommendation of a gas station attendant. A little ways into town so you need to search for it but worth it! Eclectic decorating and coffee cups but everyone was a delight. Staff and locals. Food was top notch. We will happily make a point of stopping here again.“
“My wife and I visited here on a weekday evening. She made reservations- I would highly recommend making reservations. We were seated upstairs- very cramped. Our waitress only came by once after delivering our initial drinks- that was when she brought the ticket.“
“I called ahead for takeout and arrived to find the store especially busy. I was worried that it would be a long wait after seeing the line out the door. However, one of the workers greeted me at the door and was able to grab my family's to-go order, and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.“
“What a good hidden gem of a place to eat! It's easy to miss this place driving by, but it's definitely worth it to stop in! The food is good and the servers are very pleasant. They have a small buffet at lunch that included 8 different options. The day I was there, they had roast, mashed potatoes, rolls, green beans, and more. However, I ordered the bigfoot burger, which was quite big. The fries were okay, but the onion rings and dessert cakes were great!“
“It was a Friday night and they were slammed so didn't expect to get in and out quickly. Ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer and typical bar food appetizer quality. I ordered the pulled pork with macaroni salad and slaw as the sides. It was all spot on delicious. Five of five stars. My wife ordered the brisket with potato salad and slaw. The brisket was pretty much all fat and she couldn't even really eat it. Potato salad was good.“
