“Unique experience with super friendly staff and live music. The food was great--granted it was mostly all fried, so if you don't want fried food. If you like a GREAT fried chicken finger , this is it! REAL, hand battered chicken fingers. It is very laid back and casual--paper plates, plastic utensils. Would definitely go back!“

“Really cool hidden gem with an awesome atmosphere and live music. The second we walked in, the place had a fun, laid back vibe that made you want to stay awhile. The decor, lighting, and live band gave it a true local smokehouse/music venue feel and honestly that was the highlight of the night. You can tell this is a spot where locals come to relax, listen to music, and have a good time.

We ordered a variety of food including the pulled pork, fried sides, baked beans, cucumber salad, and dessert. The food was decent overall, but nothing really stood out as amazing or memorable. It wasn’t terrible just more average than expected considering how cool the place itself was. The homemade fried pie dessert was probably our favorite thing food-wise. The pulled pork had been sitting all day you could tell as it was dry and harden in a lot of places.

The biggest downside was the service. Our server was friendly when we did see her, but we felt pretty overlooked most of the evening and had long stretches without being checked on. Drinks and basic follow-up took longer than expected, especially since it wasn’t overly packed.

Even with that, we still enjoyed ourselves because the atmosphere and live music carried the experience. If you’re looking for a fun local spot with good vibes, cold drinks, and live entertainment, this place is definitely worth checking out. We’d come back again mainly for the music and overall experience hoping we have a better server.“
