Cute coffee place! I parked across the street on Walnut and walked over. I ordered a cold brew coffee flavored with white chocolate. It wasn’t overly sweet which I liked.

We had the Mr. blue sky and a sugar free vanilla iced latte. Both were great, they don’t over do the ice which is awesome. Both were $5 each. Staff had good advice and were kind and smiley.

Vertical is the best!!! I often come here to work, or with my kiddos to hang out! The coffee and tea are delicious, and they have the best sourdough cookies, and cinnamon rolls (made by a local baker)! Great customer service, employees are very kind, lovely atmosphere, and they have a nice area with toys and books for the kiddos! Oh yes, and they roast their own coffee beans! All around great place!

Atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting. The barista could hear my preference and directed me with expertise. A solid locally roasted and brewed single origin from Papua New Guinea. I am a coffee snob and I get nervous leaving the big cities for fear of not finding good coffee, but I am pinning this shop for my travels. Thanks, y'all!

I have been one other time! The first time was very happy that the espresso was smooth and the drinks tasted like the description - the fruity pebble which is all I’ve thought about so I came in this morning. I’m a sucker for a fruity pebble latte and hadn’t had one in years and that hit the spot. I came TODAY to get one. I ordered iced/no whip. I waited and waited and asked if I missed my drink and was told that they sold me a drink they’re out of and I was like ok why wouldn’t you come tell me and asked were you just going to wait until I asked questions to inform me. They were busy so I did wait an appropriate amount of time to finally ask well he said that he’d told the guy who took my order and basically it sounded like no one took initiative or accountability to come tell me it’s sold out and ask what I’d like instead. They’re was like 4-5 of them and I’ve seen coffee shops much busier in Nashville function with 2-3 baristas so walking away or cat calling me up with that many people shouldn’t have been an issue. I then went and replaced my order and even had to say whoa I already paid well it was an even more while later I received my drink but it was incorrect and had whip cream. I will say she told me they refunded it which I didn’t ask for and I appreciate that.
I can’t deny though the drink is delicious but I hope this isn’t the vibe all the time! I would come back more often. It’s a great atmosphere to study and again the drink is smooth and tasty!

I travel a lot across the United States so I stop at a lot of coffee shops and this coffee shop has one of the best mochas I’ve had and they have excellent customer service very friendly
Oh my. We were just passing through today from Nashville and picked Vertical Coffee off the map. Now, we are avid coffee snobs and this was - hands down - the best coffee we've ever had! Plus, the shop is modern cozy and the prices are competitive. We'll definitely be back the next time we pass this way!

Such a cute place to get coffee. The cinnamon scones were mind blowing. The coffee was good to and the girl that took our order was super sweet. They have seating outside but unfortunately the traffic is a little heavy. Other than that no complaints here.

My sister, daughter and I stopped in this afternoon. I had the iced Irish Cream, my sister had the hot Captain Jack and my daughter had an iced Captain Jack. We bought half a dozen assorted macarons and split them. Everything was amazing and since we are all in college, we plan on studying there from time to time.
