HWY 70 BBQ Reviews
First visit today! Got the smoked bologna sandwich and loaded fires. Food was delicious and flavorful. Just wish the bologna was quite a bit thicker! 😊
Boast for HWY 70 BBQ to start off with the customer service was fantastic! The ladies here were so helpful with answering questions & making sure we got the perfect bbq sauce.
I ordered the plate with 2 sides & got the shredded pork with the potato munchems & the potato salad. So the pork was very tender & cooked perfectly. The potato muchems are a fried cheesy tater tot. I had beef wanting to try the BBQ at HWY 70 BBQ for a while and I’m so glad I finally got to try it. I got the Loaded BBQ Potato with their delicious sweet BBQ sauce. HWY 70 BBQ is known for its fantastic customer service, with helpful staff ensuring a great meal experience. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, from shredded pork and sliced shoulder to a beef BBQ potato. The shredded pork is tender and cooked perfectly, while the sliced shoulder is flavorful and juicy. The Loaded BBQ Potato remains a standout, featuring a large potato loaded with fixings and topped with a generous amount of BBQ meat. Customers can enjoy a choice of sauces, with the sweet BBQ sauce being especially popular, though a vinegar-based option is also available.
Sides include potato munchems, which are cheesy fried tater tots, and potato salad with a bacon ranch mixture. The green beans are well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The mac and cheese has potential but may seem a bit bland to some. Prices are reasonable, offering a generous amount of food, though some may find the bologna sandwich a little overpriced and lacking in substance. Overall, HWY 70 BBQ is a great spot for Southern comfort food, with friendly service and a variety of tasty options. Visitors are encouraged to come early, especially on the weekend, to enjoy the full menu before supplies run out.
