“My husband and I were driving from Gatlinburg to Nashville to help our daughter move. I had heard about the cafe’ and always wanted to go. We were not in a hurry so went the hour out of our way to try it. What a truly wonderful experience we had!! I had read some recent reviews and was a bit worried. The girl who sat us barely spoke to us and I thought “uh oh”, but then came Evie!!! She was absolutely amazing!! She was attentive, gave us the best recommendations, was super friendly and genuinely cared whether or not we enjoyed our food and were having a good experience. We both had the fried catfish which was moist and tasty! Our sides were all good and the fried green tomatoes were awesome!! So hard to choose a dessert but we shared the coconut pie and a dreamcicle cup cake. OMG!!! Outstanding!! I tried to leave a generous tip, but nothing would have been enough to truly show Evie what an amazing experience she gave us!!! I hope to come back in August during the WLYS but some time or other, I will be back!!!! Thank you Evie!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
