“My husband and I were visiting Chattanooga and ended up here one night. Fantastic decor, ambiance, service and drinks. We went during the week and it was quiet, nice to sit and chat. Love the couches and chairs, nice and comfy! The bartender apologized because their speakers were out, and music was playing, just not loudly. Maybe it's normally louder.“
“Our party loved everything about Mac's Kitchen and Bar. The server, Schwa (sp?) was attentive, helpful, and did a wonderful job describing the food and drinks. Every plate we received was made with care. The cornbread, cabbage, grits and greens, beets, mushroom hummus and carrots were all amazing! The brisket was described as resembling a large piece of chocolate cake, and it tasted even better than it looked! The bread pudding was fresh and delicious! I can't wait to go back, and I will enthusiastically recommend Mac's to all of my friends.“
“We had a wine tasting with friends and the owner was the host and we had a blast. He gave us so much cool knowledge about the four wines we drank and they were so good. That charcuterie board we ordered was quite amazing also. We will be back for a date night again soon!“
“Absolutely love this place for their coffee, friendly service and warm atmosphere. I’ve met friends here for coffee in the mornings and have always enjoyed my time. A special shout out to Sam who has often served me early in the mornings - once bringing me a coffee across the street in January as I was removing ice from the sidewalk at Christ Reformed Baptist Church! Great barista/great service!“
“This is such a gem in Chattanooga! I love the variety and selection of beer - definitely well thought out selection of beer and types you won’t find anywhere else in the area. Great downtown historic vibe and atmosphere - the people are very helpful and help you understand the way the taproom works. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!“
“Tried Paloma for the first time last night with a girlfriend, celebrating our birthdays. Our waiter was friendly and the food was tasty. Had hoped for a better sunset view but the plastic coverings weren't clear and we mainly watched the traffic. Still nice atmosphere. Loved the asparagus and bacon wrapped dates - the calamari flavor was different than advertised (more sweet/smoky than light and lemony) but good texture. Enjoyed the chocolate mousse dessert. Also don't be like me and keep looking for parking and end up on 27 going across the bridge and back. Pay to park for $10 in the church lot next to main entrance“
“Great food, great service! I had the Sea Bass, a Ceasar Salad, Ahi Tuna, and the Bacon Deviled Eggs. All were delightful! Highly recommend! You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, so the price matches the quality, imo.Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is kinda loud, so I wouldn't worry about bringing your kids. They also have a kids menu.“
“I love the new vibe, that you can make reservations and the signature cocktail for March. I also love that they don't rush you just to make room for another customer. On Signal, it's wise to start with limited days/hours. The appetizers & desserts are wonderful.Sadly, both times I have had a full dinner (fairly early in the evening), the dish I wanted wasn't available. The chicken dish I ordered instead had wonderful sides & I loved the rosemary sauce, but the chicken was way over cooked.I understand that a new chef is coming in a couple of weeks. Hope the next time the main course will be better. This week, I went back with a different friend and we split the veggie pizza which was delicious...the new chef is there & I think the dinner experience will be much better going forward!Wheelchair accessibility: Available parking overall is limited (nothing the restaurant can do about it), but the handicap parking was fine and there's a new ramp to assist.“
“We stop in here time to time for a drink after work. The staff is always super welcoming. It’s not often a bar manager is so involved and helpful with their staff and guests. If you stop in, have a convo with Jeremy and Lisa, my two favorite bartenders. Both are awesome and always willing to provide a tasty drink.“
“Best hibachi in Chattanooga. The staff is so incredibly friendly, drinks are always full, and food is cooked perfectly every time. Their mustard sauce is always on point. Huge portions and well worth the money. Plus the fortune cookies at the end are always fun.“
“When we walked in a group of three workers just stared at us until a waitress walked by and I guess told them to acknowledge us. We then got seated and Josh was our server and he was great. The food wasn't bad but wasn't anything crazy good.“
