“My husband and I have planned to visit y'all for quite a while but haven't had the opportunity yet however our granddaughter and her mother n law visited today and brought us back plates. It was delicious even after riding an hour, I can only imagine how good it is fresh out of the kitchen. We will definitely do our best to get there soon. We can't find good chicken livers around here and yours hit the spot, I could eat my weight in them and I'm a big lady. lol .. The chicken was still crispy and moist. The yeast rolls were amazing. The veggies were exceptional, some buffets just heat canned veggies, but the green beans were seasoned with bacon and had small potatoes in them. I'm 71 years old and never had pineapple in a sweet potato casserole until today but it was great. Good ole Southern country cooking done right is all I can say. 10 out of 10!!!”

“This is the best place around! It is one of our family’s favorite restaurants and we drive an hour from Alabama just to eat here. We love to attend for birthday lunches as well. Brown bag specials all the way! Every side is delicious! My son says that this TN BBQ is better than Texas’ and North Carolina’s! Their homemade sauces - incredible! One of the best parts is greeting and petting Boots, the BBQ kitty, who loves to hang out on the front porch. Wonderful family who owns it is always willing to chat and are local farmers. Beautiful setting in a quiet corner. Worth your time and money, your taste buds will thank you! ❤️”

I was born with a greasy spoon in my mouth, not a silver one. I need a place off the beaten path. Shack chic with a hint of propane. You know what I’m talking about. I need a place where the southern accents are thicker than the gravy they serve. Where the old men gather, talking about the same local sports and political teams they’ve been a part of for the past hundred years. A place where the walls don’t have pictures of celebrities. Just family photos. Some that read “In Loving Memory.” I found that place. It sits a few beats off the interstate, weathered and loved, really close to the Nirvana RV Park. What you smell isn’t teen spirit. It’s old-school country cooking, served with a friendly smile...and a fried cherry pie. Eggs piled high. A vegetable omelet that never claimed to be healthy. A ribeye? Yes, please. Especially one from that griddle, which you know has been going non-stop since the Nixon administration. If you find yourself somewhere between Nashville and Huntsville on I-65, venture a little off the interstate. Stop by Five Points Market and take it all in. Yep.”

“sadly my first time going to the hickory house in Pulaski will more likely be my very last. (Friday October 17, 2025) as soon as we walked thru the door I was stared at by a lady in the back behind the counter as if I was wearing a clown costume, very unfriendly, unwelcoming feeling. we were then seated & the lady put the menus & silverware on the table & just walked off. where we sat & looked at the menu for 17 minutes before we were greeted by a waitress who got our drink orders. she returned with the drinks after a few minutes & asked if we needed more time to look at the menu as to which we told her we were ready to order. (I really loved the menu by the way as each item is specially named & information is listed under each item.) we ordered the fried mushrooms as an app & they came just before our food did. they came with a ranch cup, the lid was stuck to the cup & the ranch smelled like spoiled milk & it has began to clabber together. that was tossed to the side, no problem. our food comes out & I got the 10 oz sirloin with fries & a loaded potato, the plate of fries were stacked on top of my steak, being a server preciously for years, that is a definite no go, I would rather half of my food be brought out than to have plates stacked on top of food. my steak was salty so I'm not sure if they're soaked or what they are seasoned with. we may had seen the waitress twice while being there, definitely friendly but the service was most definitely not there. there was a gentleman who came in after us before we got to order our drinks, he was met at his table before he sat down & had his drink ordered along with his food. the business wasn't busy by far, so I'm not sure if this kind of service is an every day thing but as for me I don't believe that I will return..”

“This location is excellent, the food is the best Subway you'll find anywhere, but the employees make it truly special! We drive out of our way to visit this Subway because they genuinely are that much better.

Our catering order today was placed over the phone because we had a couple special requests. The order was initiated last night but was completed this morning. Both shift leads (Lori and Anne) plus the Manager today (MIchelle) all went above and beyond to ensure our order was exactly what we hoped it would be.

The owner should be very proud of the team and if you need a sub while in, or passing through Ardmore, this is your spot!

“This McDonald’s in Adamore Alabama is how every McDonald’s franchise should pattern itself after. Clean restaurant and bathroom, engaging friendly employees in front and behind the counter, order taken promptly and employee was patient when taking orders, suggested donations to Ronald McDonald house, food brought out hot and fresh very quickly. Keep up the great work and we’ll be back next year. THANK YOU!!”

“Sonic is usually pretty good. It can be hit or miss but when it's good it's one of my favorites. Love those tater tots and crushed ice. Classic.

This trip was a good one. I tried the double smash burger just like it comes, a medium tot even though I wanted a large one, and an icy cold diet coke. Yeah I know that's funny to some people - including me now that I think about it.

This place was very busy. It was hard to park. Servers were almost running to the cars to get people's food to them. They didn't slow down and clearly were hard workers. This is not something I usually see where I live which is more urban.

The burger was spot on. Very hot. Perfectly cooked, juicy, great flavor in the meat, and the sauce and fixings they decided to put on this thing were almost perfect. Maybe a little too much sauce that made the bun absorb some towards the end. But it was overall great.

I shouldn't have salted the tots before trying them bc they put a perfect amount on before I did. They were fairly hot but not as hot as the burger. By the time I was done they were barely warm but they were still good.

The ice was, as always, great and the diet coke was crisp enough, better than most places.

Server smiled, thanked me, and seemed upbeat and grateful to have a job.
