Great food, good friendly service, but the interior of the restaurant smells like a bag of sweaty gym socks. The carpet of this establishment must be ripped out completely. We almost left because of the nauseating and off putting smell. We changed tables twice to try and get away from the smell and we finally settled on a small table outside. Tonight my friends and I had the pleasure of being served by Anna at J. Alexander’s in Franklin, and she was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we sat down at the bar, she greeted us with a friendly smile and made us feel comfortable right away!
Our cocktails were excellent. Each one was perfectly mixed, presented beautifully, and tasted great. Anna was attentive without hovering, checking in at the right times and making sure we had everything we needed....

Too loud...waitress was nice but never once asked if we needed any refills on drinks. Food was mediocre. Mahgerita pizza NO FLAVOR BASIL NON EXISTENT. SAUCE WAS LIKE CANNED CRUSHED TOMATOES. ASKED FOR EXTRA SAUCE AND IT WAS SWIMMING IN IT SOGGY CRUST. GREENS IN SALAD WERE LIMP. MORE BREADING THAN CHICKEN . POOR EXCUSE FOR THE PRICE. WOULD NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.
