We love Perry's and , after a time of not dining here, we came back, lured by the newish senior menu. First off, if you're old like us, it's a wonderful value and portions are great. We will do it again. HOWEVER.....we both had the wedge salad, dripping in gallons of dressing...ok— we can scrape it off. After our 1.5 hour dinner, leaving, we were both hit with horrible intestinal distress. We had different entrees and had not eaten anything in common since Thursday....
The food was outstanding. We sat in a private room and I was so happy. I requested the room to be added to my profile so that if I go back then the restaurant knows I prefer a private room over the main dining area. It's just quieter.
The meal from start to finish was incredible. Daniel, our server was super knowledgeable, and even helped redirect my thoughts on what i would drink with the meal by making excellent recommendations. The koji-aged prime ribeye was incredible, especially paired with their version of a sazarac. The artichoke truffle oil soup was light and delicious, and the scallions were cooked perfectly. Daniel's knowledge, recommendations, and obvious love for his work made this experience...
