“After traveling and enjoying fine Italian food I came back to Memphis with a craving of gnocchi.. quick google search brought me here !! And I’m so glad it did !! The fried green tomatoes and cornbread were delicious apps to start off !! A few mixed drinks and a glass of wine soothed the mood . The Gnocchi did not disappoint and the “ blue crab “ spaghetti was a pleasant surprise!! But the desert!!! The CHOCOLATE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING ….Let me be clear … BEST DESERT IN ALL MY TRAVELS !! “It has been a while since we have been to Amerigo. We've been snowed in all week and we had a gift card, so we were looking forward to our dinner. We were both disappointed in the food this time. Every other time the food has been outstanding and it jut wasn't on this visit. My husband had his favorite, the cannelloni. I had the chicken Marsala. Hubby said his was not as good as he remembered it being, but it was still okay. My Marsala was bland. I brought half of it home to doctor it a bit before eating it again. Marcus did a good job and was very attentive. However, we did not get any bread until after we finished our salads. We missed having it before and during the salads. He did bring us very hot bread right after the salads and it was delicious. After a very disappointed dinner, we were looking forward to the best part, the tiramisu. For years, we have raved about it and always order it when going to Amerigo. It has always been at the top of our list of favorite desserts. Not this time! It was dry and they must have changed chocolate vendors as the chocolate was not the same delectable flavor that it has been in the past. We left not sure if a next visit will even be worth it. That makes me sad as Amerigo has always been one of our favorite "special" places.“

Apparently new members of the original family took it over and everything was really good again. The food was excellent as was the service. The atmosphere was much brighter as well. “I have to say, I'm not really a fan of pasta, which means there's not a lot for me to eat at Olive Garden. Also, I'm gluten free, so that really limits my selection.
They do have a gluten free pasta, which I had with meat sauce. The pasta was okay...no GF pasta is great. That's just how it is. I was really disappointed in the sauce. It did not taste like I was eating an Italian restaurant.
The time the hubs & I visited few here prior to this one, I ordered GF pasta and they brought me regular pasta. I was fortunate enough to catch it before I took a bite. By the time my food arrived, the hubs was just about finished eating. I ate a little of mine, then took the rest home. I didn't like my food then either.
The salad is always a good option for me (without croutons). I love salad and enjoy theirs very much.
I was with a party of people. Most seemed to like their food, so the disappointment is likely just due to my preferences.
The atmosphere is welcoming and it's not typically loud.

“Went for lunch with a bunch of kids. They were very patient with our group. It is very affordable with a lot of different pizza sizes and options. Service was very fast. The pizza is really good too. I was watching them handmake the dough. It is a small space for eating but for the price and the service, squeeze in and enjoy! Or order to go, they seemed to be cranking out a lot of to go orders. They work very fast here!“

“My new favorite pizza place isn't this area. Our server was awesome and extremely helpful. The kids ordered their own pizzas and they were able to make them at the table which they loved. This is probably the best dough I have had in forever it didn't taste like it came from a can so that's already better than everywhere else in town. Toppings were plentiful and fresh. “My husband and I love Bella’s! Their food is so good and so FRESH. This last visit I got lemon pepper wings, a small chef salad, and a slice. I crave their salads because they’re always so crisp and you can tell all the ingredients are fresh. My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs. The portion is huge and their sauce (made in house) is light but flavorful. It was all delicious and always consistent! If you haven’t tried Bella’s I would highly recommend!“

“Went to Sam’s for New Year’s Eve and honestly planned to get cheap pizza there but their cafe was closed.I haven’t eaten Milano’s in years but decided to give them a try.I ordered online on the way and when I got there the manager offered me a drink while I waited.My order was ready in a timely manner and not only were the pizza and wings excellent,they also threw in garlic knots.10/10 recommend for quality and customer service.I will order from them in the future for sure.“
