UPDATE - after another 20 minutes of calling it finally rang and someone answered. They were slammed and I guess their phone system is bad. The staff was very apologetic and I went and picked up the rest of the food. It was ready when I got there and I really appreciate them making it right.“

“We had an out of the blue date night last night. My mom came over and we asked to go to dinner with no idea where to go. We decided to give Lakshore Grille a try and WOWWWWW. We were so happy with our decision to come there. We will be back over and over again. The food was some of the best we have had and the entire service staff was so friendly. Some minor issues with service, waitress had some issues packaging our take home correctly. Actually I don't like my food being taken back to the kitchen. In the future just bring me boxes. My water glass went dry. At first, ok, then long periods of time between table visits. Ordered coffee when we got our desserts. Never came. Didn't say anything, as we'd been there well over an hour and a half, time to go. Waitress very nice, maybe having a bad evening, or new, could do better. Was still tipped well. “The service was very good. The food was delicious. I ordered the the 3 course for $39.95, for starters I had a ceasar salad. Entree sirloin, parmeasan mashed potatoes and vegetables medley and bread of course for dessert I chose the creme Brule cheesecake. So so good and hot. I had received a $10 coupon through the rewards program which, expired on the day I was dining. My server forgot to added it to my bill although she wrote down the coupon code. I discovered the error after I left the restaurant I called back and spoke with the manager Don Driscoll and he said he would honor it up to 30 days. I thought that was outstanding.“

“I’m a very picky eater and when a friend suggested my husband and I eat at Haven’s with him we agreed. My husband had meatloaf, okra, cabbage with a corn muffin and I had the fried chicken wings, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas with a corn muffin. Every single thing we ate was the best we have ever tasted!! I couldn’t believe it. Our friend ordered the pork chops and could only eat one so my husband got to eat the other one. Seriously, it was hard to leave there with out ordering two or three meals to go. Since we live in Cleveland Haven's will see us at LEAST once a week. The girls there are precious and the food is cooked after you order. Such a Fantastic place!!!“

“I moved here 2 years ago and this was the first place I stop for dinner and since the first day they treated me like a local. The bartender asked me : You are not from here don’t you? And I said, No, I just moved with my family, and from there she started suggesting what to get from the menu, put me up to date with the area, and not only she introduced me to some of their regular customers she even recommended other restaurants, schools and even a good church. The staff has always been nice, but yes sometimes they are a little busy, what is understandable. Coming from FL I had to wait at least 45 min minimum just to get a table. In some occasions the owner has stopped by my table to say hi and to ask about how the service was going and once he even give me and my cousin to try for free the loaded nachos before they put them in the menu. In my opinion, not only the food has been great, (and I have tried most of the menu), but the staff has been extremely helpful and nice taking in consideration that I was new in the area. So for me this has been a great place so far, service is great, food is good and they try to at least make a personal connection with you which most of the places don’t even care. NYPD is a great place and Im happy we have it here in town.“
