“Love this place, the staff and their coffee! Unfortunately their wait times are often very long and only have one barista working both windows at the Lebanon location. Many times I (and others) have to leave the line as I can't wait 30min plus during my lunch break.“

It’s a cute little place and we all LOVED our food. The Bianca sandwich was delicious on the focaccia bread and it was huge! And the coffee was also well made. I also got one of the best vanilla matcha lattes to go. All the staff members were super friendly as well. So bummed this place isn’t close to home!“

“We stopped by Tempo Nashville on Nolensville Pike for breakfast/brunch and left super impressed! The food was absolutely delicious — we tried the bean and cheese quesadillas, the steak and egg tacos, and a few bites of everything because it was that good.

If you’re low-carb or have dietary restrictions, they’re super flexible — you can skip the tortillas and still get a generous, satisfying portion. Love that kind of service!

🌱 One thing that really stood out to me was how eco-friendly the place is. The plates, cutlery, even the vibe — all very sustainable and conscious. Wooden silverware, biodegradable everything. Small touches, big impact. 👏

🍴 Now for the honest part: we do NOT recommend the chips and queso. Definitely skip that one. But everything else? Chef’s kiss.

I brought my two kids — 8 and 13 — and they both enjoyed their meals (and that’s saying something). It’s casual, friendly, and quick, but still feels cool and local. We’re giving the food five stars, but the atmosphere lands at a strong four — cute and clean, but a little basic inside. Still, the staff was kind, and we’ll 100% be back.

Our condo was in East Nashville and we thought we would try something local to that area...and boy are we glad we did!!! “First: I’m extremely picky about my lattes. I am sensitive to overcooked (burnt taste) beans and undercooked (sour taste) beans. I have gone here repeatedly for iced lattes and they have always provided the perfect texture and balance. They are by far (and I don’t say this lightly) providing the BEST espresso in Nashville. Second: What truly makes this cafe great is that it’s the only cafe in town that makes you feel like you’re wanted. All of these cafes built in the last 20 years are hard, cold and sterile. If you’re younger than 40, you probably don’t even remember that cafes used to be warm, social, inviting and a home for many people. New cafes are so uninviting and I feel it’s done on purpose to get you to leave so more customers come in. But the Daily Grind? It’s homey, has couches, the walls are filled with all sorts of crafty love and plants and there’s a poster on the front that lets you know this is a SAFE space for all. It’s reminiscent of the old days when you had warm social spaces where you could spend hours every day with friends playing games, drawing, talking and no one glued to their phones. I hope this cafe gets to expand and provide even more of this nostalgic homey feel and bring that needed community experience back to Nashville. Third: GREAT food and customer service on top of all of the above“

“After playing soccer at nearby Moss-Wright Park, we wanted to enjoy a family meal of pizza and other goodies. We drove by Jolly Ollie’s before, but it was shut down due to repairs from a tornado. I’m happy to say that it’s now open with great food, friendly service, and lively music upstairs in the bar. Yelp said that Jolly Ollie’s was open until 11pm, but the dining room closes at 10pm. We got there about 9:30pm, but Sydney didn’t turn us away. She was friendly and welcoming, and she was very attentive all night. We ordered an appetizer of fried mozzarella and the Southwest egg rolls. The mozzarella was crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The egg rolls were just as delicious. For our main dishes, we ordered a large pepperoni and a large meat lovers (aka Shipwrecked). I eat a TON of pizza, and the pepperoni pizza was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Hands down. The sandwiches, pasta, and other menu items looked good. My son wants to come back for the baked ziti, and my wife wants to try the wings. If you like to play pool, sing karaoke, or want a stiff drink, visit their upstairs bar. Wide open space and well-lit. I hopped upstairs and the people seemed friendly and having a good time. Sydney told us that their outdoor patio has a bar and they have live music on the weekends. Highly recommend checking out Jolly Ollie’s. And when you visit, be sure to request Sydney. She’ll brighten your day with her positive attitude and excellent service.“

“Bartenders and Atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Bacon Mac Cheese pizza was to die for, Pepperoni pizza was really good, fresh slices until 5 am. Beer selection was one of the biggest I have seen, probably 50-75 choices with alot of local breweries featured. Jay was my bartender for most the night, dude cut it up with me and made recommendations, made me free like a local. Had outdoor seating with shuffle board and heaters. Best of all gaming, anything from Pinball too Arcade cabinets (Vintage and New), even had a big screen with Mario Cart 64 setup. Ernie's Boondocks below had pool tables also.“

A bit overpriced due to add ons: adding honey and almond milk to my 12oz matcha adds $3?! It would at least be less aggregious if I could get a 16oz drink there. A 12oz drink and a burrito always seems to end up being $27.

You can't really eat or drink inside. So if you eat at the establishment, you're now getting a Gallatin Pike and Trinity intersection experience. Regular near miss crashes. Heavy horn use. It's honestly more serene to eat in your car. You'd never even think to bring a laptop there and get some work done.

They would do well to add either bamboo planters, or at least a fence/shrubbery. Then additional shade would also be beneficial. Along with monthly powerwashing.“

“What a gem - honestly stumbled upon this place accidentally and am so glad I stayed to give it a chance. Creative and outstanding cocktails and honestly some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The outdoor patio is serene and full of plants and people with their friends and dogs and the whole experience was wonderful. “The food here was DELICIOUS!! I had the beef bulgogi as well as a few dishes to share with my family who were visiting from Taiwan. They also thought the food was phenomenal. I wasn’t expecting such good seafood from a land-locked city! The atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting to all customers. I felt like I could spend all day at that restaurant. Not to mention the fantastic service. This is a family owned restaurant which means the food is made with live and care. My beef bulgogi was super delicious along with the rice noodles.
