“My kids and I came in for the first time last Saturday at about 10:05 am not knowing they closed at 10:15 to prepare for lunch. We were welcomed in anyway! Our food was so good, and we even got a meal to go for lunch. Service was exceptional. We will definitely eat here anytime we are in town.”

“My friends and I stopped here for breakfast but one decided to have the lunch buffet instead. She enjoyed the variety of vegetables, the fried chicken and the peach cobbler. She really liked the salad bar variety. My other friend and I had breakfast. She had French toast and bacon, I had biscuits and gravy with fried potatoes. Both meals were delicious and plentiful. I would suggest trying the place the locals go to as opposed to a chain restaurant.”

“Mariah is the best! My husband has eaten here many times as he's on the road for work often, but today was the first time I ate here. He is pulling out boat so it was easy to stop here, but he also assured me I'd love it. He wasn't wrong! Cleanest restaurant I've seen in YEARS! Even the parking lot. I LOVE the old decor, BUT it is clean and they've updated not just kept old worn out carpet or furniture like so many places do. But they keep the vibe! Yall this is a family-owned business who clearly cares about their customer and their employees, which as a business owner is something we notice. Ok onto the food. Exceptional! They make it for you when you order. This place was doing a lot of business both sit-down and take-out. We love to support local establishments and we will be back! I complimented Mariah and the whole experience and she appreciated it and yes we tipped also! Thankful for hard-working people like Mariah and others working here today. We enjoyed our lunch very much!”

“Love me some waffle House... I have visited them in many states and this was my first time at one in Tennessee. The best thing about this one was the wonderful crew that staffs it. Friendly, attentive, and engaging with fast service and decent grub.”

“What an authentic spot. I had the chance to stop in and try their street tacos and it was absolutely worth every dollar. I ordered the Kearny Asada, the Carnitas, and the shredded beef and cheese crispy tacos. A lot of places miss the mark with carne asada, dry and chewy, but not here. The meat was fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. The carnitas were solid and well seasoned, but hands down the standout was the shredded beef and cheese crispy taco. That one stole the show and will be my go-to next time. No question, I’ll be ordering at least three when I return, and it’s definitely a when, not an if. Oscar’s Taco Shop is the real deal.”
