For the past couple of months my wife and I have been enjoying our Sunday lunch at the Mercantile Cafe. We have lived in the area for about 5 years now and have just recently found this great place to eat. The home cooking reminds me of my Mother’s food she fixed for me growing up. My husband, son and I visited for the first time yesterday and don't know why we haven't come by sooner!! The food was delicious and the staff made it a fun atmosphere to enjoy lunch! We brought some baked goods home with us and loved them. Can't wait to return 💝

Based on the reviews, The Mercantile Cafe serves America comfort food and offers some of the best desserts life has to offer. The food is absolutely delicious and well worth the price. The cafe provides wonderful food and a beautiful space for events. The owner is incredibly inviting and shares helpful tips. The adjacent Golden Hour coffee shop is also wonderful. Everything is delicious, and the staff is amazing and helpful. Customers are thankful for the hard work and wonderful meals. However, cake slices are very good but cost $5.50 a slice with no price posted. Seating can be limited because tables are not cleared.
