Firehouse Subs Mountain Perkins consistently makes great sub sandwiches. The food is delicious, and the customer service is amazing. The team goes above and beyond to assist with gluten-free food, and staff are knowledgeable and willing to contact the GM to answer questions correctly. One visit included a movie for kids and a filling lunch. The Hero Medium size combo comes fully loaded with chips and drink, plus a spear pickle on the side. When there was a minor technical difficulty, staff gave a brownie for the wait. The cheddar brisket is loved and recommended. The Firehouse Italian is a usual order, and hot sauces are sold, including Captain Sorensen's Datali Pepper sauce. This location serves French fries, which aren't available at the Clinton location yet. The place stays pretty busy everyday and all day, so there is not much room for parking or to sit or stand, but the service is good and they try to make it fast as possible with all the orders.
