Lovely atmosphere! Caught them opening day. Owner was kind enough to come out and speak to us after the meal. Wore a nice traditional skirt for the occasion. Will be back!
Great people. Haven't opened yet but stopped by to see the place and got to talk to the owner for a while. Nice man. Staff also seems friendly. Can't wait til open

Mug & Mason offers delightful food, with standouts like their "Chookie" chicken sandwich and amazing sausage rolls. The chef does brilliant things with standard British favorites, making it a favorite restaurant in the area. The service is generally good, though there can be delays when they're short-staffed. The atmosphere is pleasant, relaxed, and inviting, enhanced by lovely music. However, there was a slightly musty smell at first that some guests noticed. While the tables are clean, the varnish on them may feel sticky to the touch. Additionally, there are plenty of vegetarian options available. Overall, this beautiful little restaurant is highly recommended for its beautiful and tasty offerings.
