Great place to eat the best in town the chef lucky is wonderful.
Small mom pop restaurant. Good selection for non pizza lovers. We did a small 10” regular pizza & 10” Sicilian pizza to compare the two. The Sicilian wasn’t a true Sicilian style with thick crust. It was the same as the regular pizza but in a square shape. Needed to cook longer as dough was a bit doughy. The Venice regular pizza was good. Crust had a nice crisp to it. Staff was nice but short staffed and had a hard time keeping up with tending to the table for refills.

Venice Italian Restaurant is a small mom pop restaurant that is simple but nice. It is a hidden gem and one of the favorite restaurants in Johnson City. The staff is nice and courteous, though short staffed, and the servers are great and friendly. The restaurant is a seat yourself kinda of place and sometimes plays the Moana soundtrack for younger guests.
The food is excellent, delicious, very fresh and very well prepared. The sauce is absolutely perfect and most likely made by hand. The cheeses are very good and the basil looked freshly picked. The dough for the pizza is outstanding, the pasta is phenomenal and the pizza crust is crunchy with a nice taste. The regular pizza is very good with a nice crisp to the crust. The Sicilian pizza was not a true Sicilian style with thick crust and was the same as the regular pizza but in a square shape, and the dough was a bit doughy. The recommendation is to skip the Sicilian pizza because the regular is better. The bruschetta is recommended. The garlic knots and a medium pizza provided leftovers to take home. There is a good selection for non pizza lovers.
