We stayed at the Carnegie Hotel, which made Wellington’s a great dinner choice. Service was excellent, dinner entrees were delicious…. The only thing that was left be desired was dessert- which was mediocre. I would eat here again.
I was staying at the Carnegie, so I went down to Wellington to order a cappuccino. I was told that their espresso machine was broken, but I could get free coffee in the Carnegie lobby. No problem. However, that night I went down to order dessert to take back to the room. I spoke with the host (super nice guy) regarding my best choices, and ordered the Bananas Foster with an extra side of ice cream to split with my husband. I realized they couldn’t do table side flambé, but...
Just a stellar place, man. Huge selection of bourbon and whiskey. Outstanding food, especially the brussel sprouts and the burger. Wonderful atmosphere and top notch service. Would definitely eat here more often if I could. Bit pricey but it’s a 4-star hotel so that’s understood. Gotta give props
