Held within the beautiful Carnegie Hotel, the vibes are definitely classy without pretentiousness. It's simply a place from another time. Between the three of us, we tried the pork steak, the salmon, and the beef tips. Saucy, rich, full flavors. The service was just a tad slow, but it's understandable since it was a Wednesday and they probably didn't have a full staff.
My co-workers planned a going-away dinner for me at Wellington’s, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the perfectly crafted Old Fashioned to the Dunkel Beef Tips, along with excellent service and a warm atmosphere, Wellington’s and their staff made the evening truly memorable.
I was concerned after seeing the mixed reviews but still wanted to try this place and I am so glad we did! My husband and I made reservations to come here for a date night and it was fantastic. The collard dip was delicious and the deconstructed wellington had the most amazing combination of flavors. The only thing I did not love was the ranch dressing, it has a sweet flavor which just isn't my preference but was still good if you like that style of dressing. It still did...
