Friends and I went to La Carreta today to celebrate a long awaited and well deserved victory. Last time we will be eating here. Ordered a round of beers and ice water. Didn’t receive our beer until half way through our meal. Even longer until we had water. They explained that they had difficulties with the keg, but we ate most of our food without even a water and no one ever came to explain to us the issue. The beer that we finally got was warm. Today marks the very last day I will eat here. As I was trying to add up the total including the tip on my ticket, I had a little trouble adding up everything in my head, and apparently was taking too long because one of the MANAGERS pointed at me while speaking to a server and called me "Pendejo" which is an insult calling someone "stupid" basically. Totally not okay. If anyone knows the owners, they may want to hear about how the manager (he wears glasses) casually insulted...read full review
I just paid 28.00 for two orders of nachos. I wish I had looked at the order before getting all the way home. The picture makes it look bigger than it was. The few chips in them were soggy and nasty. Very disappointed.
