My friend, who has traveled the world and is a connoisseur of seafood, remarked more than once about the excellence of our food. Our waitress, Kim, was as fine as the food ! “The food was good. The wait staff were great. The restaurant was very clean and presentable. I have only one complaint. The restaurant closes at 10:00 pm. A few minutes before 8:00 our meal was finished and I ordered dessert and a cup of coffee which is a very normal request. The kitchen staff member sent the message that they were out of coffee. Upon questioning further I discovered this kitchen staff member had another job and wanted to clean up early to get to that job thus refusing to make fresh coffee. I told our waiter to let that person know that a lack of planning on his part was not my problem and refusing to make fresh coffee two hours before closing was ridiculous. I sincerely hope the manager of this location reads this review.“

“We ate here on May 18th we took our son here to celebrate him graduating . We had to wait for about 30 mins but we knew that and understood. Our silverware was a little dirty, the food was delicious however when our food was brought out to our table my steak medallions wasn't ready I was told they ran out and had to cut more and it would be a few more minutes. I just got a to go box for mine. So overall the only complaint I would have would be the silverware and having to wait a little longer on my food was all. The food was amazing and our waitress was very nice. This was our sons first time eating here and he's already talking about eating there again.“

“My thousand miles a week on the road brought me to this restaurant today. I had glanced at the menu here on Google prior to showing up and didn’t see the Cocktail de Cameroon that I liked on the menu. I called and asked if they had it, they said yes, though it wasn’t on the menu, they’d be happy to make it for me, which is fantastic. The server knew exactly what I was asking for. This is some of the best I’ve had in months probably the only oneI’ve had better is my own cause I think I make a pretty good one. This was outstanding the shrimp were fresh and tender. They were not overcooked and I personally like it with lots of pico de gallo in it so I had asked about putting some extra in and you can tell by the picture they did. Unfortunately, this is a part of the country that I don’t cover so it’s unlikely that I’ll be back anytime soon. Just my luck. ☹“

“We have been China Wok’s customers for years. Their food is awesome. The restaurant is clean. The waitresses know us by name. This is my favorite restaurant in Kingsport.“

“We were greeted promptly and our server arrived shortly thereafter.
Drinks were brought out in short order and always kept full. Our table ordered the 2/$25 and a shrimp bowl.
All food was hot and fresh. The 2/$25 is a great deal
Our server was attentive, perhaps a little more to the gentleman in our group, but was always available for any requests.“

“Our first time here, and we absolutely loved it! The food was excellent! But the best part was our server, Heather, who delighted and entertained us the entire time, while meeting our every cuisine need. I had the KC’s macaroni and chicken Which came with garlic bread. And when I told her I could not eat garlic bread, she brought me a delicious sourdough roll. Service was impeccable. Other items our party had were The Titanic, Chips Dips and things, Big Daddy, Margie’s Cashew Chicken Salad, and the, Cowpoke. All were delicious. We will definitely go there again, but I’m going to make sure that Heather will be working that day because we enjoyed her service that much.“
