“I can’t stop talking about how amazing Christopher was!! We already can’t wait to go back again and request him. He made our meal even better than it would’ve been. He cut up with us and answered all of our questions about the menu with no hesitation.Get the deviled eggs!! They’re SO worth it“
“My husband and I (together) haven't been here in a few months so here we are. Usually I have to bring my own tea bags for hot tea at restaurants, but I was offered a choice here :) Hubby loves the chili colorado. He makes it or she with huge chunks of beef roast or stew in a spicy red sauce. This is the type of colorado we were used to eating in California. I tried a new dish choripollo. Pounded chicken grilled with chorizo and mushrooms with a white cheese sauce on top. Very, very good. I forgot my photo this time. :(“
“Lemme tell ya......I have lived in Kingsport my ENTIRE life and I've always thought to myself..."Man I gotta try Zachary Steakhouse sometime" and for some ungodly reason I would always forget about it or put it in the back burner til another time, but then a few weeks ago my buddies at Wampler's barber shop were ordering it for lunch and raving about how good it was so the other night my special lady and I were looking for something different to eat and Zachary's popped into my skull so off we went. And I'm gonna tell ya now I was completely shocked and blown away and then very sad that I've missed out on this jewel for so long! I got the Ultimate BLT and the cornbread salad and added a house salad. First off the salad was amazing and the BLT was stacked with bacon and fresh tomato and lettuce and was absolutely perfect and omg the best cornbread salad ever!! My special lady friend had the 8oz sirloin and a shrimp skewer, steak was medium and was absolutely perfect too and the shrimp were fresh and perfectly cooked. I'm telling you now....if you haven't been to this gem in Colonial Heights then you better get there ASAP!!!!“

“We go here quite often and normally order the fried catfish which is by far the best in the tri-cities. We thought we would treat ourself last night and get the fried oysters, but probably wouldn't order them again. The oysters were hot and fresh, but way to salty. We were so disappointed after paying $27 each. We told our server and she never said a word and literally forgot everything we asked for during our meal. When we were paying the employee that rang us up asked if everything was ok and we told her the oysters would have been great if they weren't so salty. She literally completely ignored what we said and did not say one word. Why ask how everything was if your going to completely ignore what the customer says? We eat here pretty regularly and have never had a problem until last night. I certainly hope the fried catfish does not become this salty or we will have to stop eating here all together.“
“Service was excellent, food was hot and fresh, restaurant was very clean and looked inviting, my order was prepared correctly and ready for me in under 5 minutes . This crew has made this Captain D’s a “Great little seafood place” again. Thank you for the wonderful service.“
“Beautiful view of Holston River. We had the beer batter mushrooms for an appetizer. They were mushroom pieces instead of whole which was different but still yummy. We both had the Alaskan halibut grilled. I had Mac n cheese and my partner had a baked potato. The entrees came with salad and we had blue cheese dressing which tasted homemade. The only food item I didn’t care for were the hush puppies, but I’m not a fan in general. We both also had mixed drinks which were very good. Rachel provided great service. Food came out quickly. We were celebrating my birthday and I highly recommend.“
