Get some air-conditioning in the kingsport place. Also hire some more people. 2 hours for food for 2 people and 2 drinks is embarrassing... never coming back. I know it's a heatwave but it's 90 inside... food was the only good part but again 2 hours... and the restaurant isn't full.

First time traveler! Absolutely amazing experience, Joshua at the bar was great, informed and friendly! Food was outstanding, 4 lunches and we’re all raving about it! It’s a 3 hours drive from home and we absolutely will all be back ❤

May I start off by saying the portions were excellent, my wife got the strips and I got the 1/2 rack bbq ribs. The strips were large and the 1/2 rack actually looked like a 1/2 rack, unlike some places. The sweet potato souffle was a little disappointing due to my expectations, which I thought it would have candied pecans on it, but the taste was good. The ribs were bland, cause im used to it having bbq basted on it I had to add it myself, and I was also figuring it would have some spices to it, didn't taste any. It did taste better after I added the bbq sauce.

1st time in Tennessee and this place was recommended by Axe Handle distilery. It did not disappoint!!! Had the Killer B brisket sandwich with tots and Mac n cheese. Also had the deviled eggs, smoked wings and cornbread apps. The Mac n cheese was ok, but everything else was terrific!

The food was amazing. Had the queso jalapeno dip for starters, chips were hand made and seasoned. Got the brisket and bacon sandwich with slaw and fried okra. It was all amazing! The appetizer was delivered the same time as the sandwich but still worked out well. The brisket and bacon were blackened perfect on the edges and the brisket was twice the width of the bun. The okra was perfectly cooked and the slaw was on the side so the bun didnt get soggy. Loved it! The Had to ask 3x for lemon for my tea, otherwise all was perfect. Sorry forgot to take picture before eating it!. Very well decorated. Nice bar area, TVs weren't loud at all and the atmosphere was great! Would definitely go back. Lots of selection on the menu as well.

Absolutely the worst service and rudest seater of any restaurant. Seater consistently sat 11+ parties in front of our 7 party. Told us 15 minutes and waited over an hour at which point she said she had other reservations to seat first. Then told me she didnt know how to seat a party of 7. Terrible service. Would not recommend this location

We love supporting local businesses, and so my daughter and I visited Southern Craft for lunch around 1 o'clock. The barbecue was very good. We had pulled pork and baby back ribs. The only thing about the barbecue was it was so much - we ate plenty and still took home a lot. They have several barbecue sauces and my daughter said she tried one that was very sweet not to use it. I'll show that one in the pictures. My daughter got a sausage on the side, and she simply could not eat it because it was too spicy hot to eat.
Our service was great. The atmosphere was lacking. First of all., it was not fooled downstairs and we were sat upstairs. It's really nice walking up the old steps and going upstairs as you can see in the pictures, but there was only one other couple of there, and they left shortly after we sat down. We just didn't understand why they use the upstairs if the downstairs is only a third full. That's the other thing it was lunch time on a weekday is there just wasn't too many people there. I'm sure it would be a lot of people different with more people there.
The food was good and the service was great, I just think it would be better if they would focus on filling the downstairs before seating people upstairs that's empty. I hope this helps. We love supporting local businesses.

Awesome experience! Food was great. Waiter was very kind and professional.
One suggestion would be to have music upstairs. Helps with noise distractions.

Reasonable prices, friendly and quick service. The pulled pork was dry and needed some help flavor-wise but everything else was great.

Ordered a pulled pork sandwich, collard greens and cucumber salad as sides. The only thing I ate was the collard greens and half of the salad. I took one bite from the barbecue and spit it out. That was the worse barbecue sandwich I have ever ate in my life. I was wondering why a restaurant like this was dead on a Fri night. The placed the bun beside of the greasy barbecue soaking the bun with grease. There was nothing good about it trust me. The collard greens were a solid 8. How does a place like this stay in business? They did give me a veterans discount. I hate to leave a negative review but if I donโ€™t nothing will change and more people will throw money away. I should take pictures but Iโ€™m over it already.

I have tried all the southern crafts in the area and this is the best one. The two visits I have made in several weeks have been great. The service was exceptional, the bbq especially the pork belly, brisket, and pulled pork couldn't have been better (really)! The tator tots, collards, and grits were equally as delicious. My husband got a peanut butter pie that he said was a great balance of PB and sweetness with out being too sweet. The seating for larger groups is up stairs so if you have a large group with anyone who can't do stairs you may need to call ahead and see if they can accommodate. The trifecta is a great dish for several people. (3 meats and some sides) For 30$ we can't really eat cheaper anywhere these days. We got 2 butcher blocks for 7 teenage boys and 4 adults and still went home with food. We could have just done one butcher block.
