We were seated right away even though it was a Saturday at 7pm and the parking lot was full! Our server, Yuni, came over right away and she was awesome! Chips were delivered to our table and Yuni pointed out the Salsa bar. So many choices! We settled on hot, table salsa and I also got the avocado jalapeño. I actually ended up getting 3 cups of that stuff. It was DELICIOUS!!We ordered the fajitas for one and split it. We couldn’t even eat it all. Ours had chicken and beef. It was really good.I also had the house margarita and it was smooth and nice. The restaurant was very festive and clean. We will definitely be back!

Went to dine in around 4p - 430p on a Saturday. Really disappointed with this visit. There were 3 of us and 2 of us order steak tacos, the other person ordered enchiladas. The tacos did not taste good at all. They were barely warm so by the time I put my toppings on them, I was eating cold tacos. The steak didn’t have any flavor at all. They tasted like cooked meat, meaning there wasn’t any seasoning at all. No salt no pepper, nothing. Literally the meat was cooked and that’s it. The meat was greasy. You could see most of the grease on the corn tortillas. The corn tortillas were hard around the edges and they didn’t seem fresh. Kind of chewy. The beans and rice were the best thing I ate. Also ordered cheese dip. It was ok seemed different, kind of gritty, maybe they changed it but it was ok but not great. We didn’t finish eating that either. The salsa bar, the onions looked as if they were starting to brown on top and you could tell that other’s were digging/picking around the discolored one. Same for the cilantro. I was just so hungry I forced myself to eat two of the tacos and the rice and beans. Took the rest with me and just threw it away. I didn’t bother complaining because we already felt as if the server didn’t want to wait on us. Not sure why. We are always nice and friendly and interactive with our server when we go out to eat. And we also tip very well but we didn’t this time due to the poor service. Not sure what was going on with our server that day but we did feel as if she didn’t want to wait on us or maybe she was just not in the mood to work. She wasn’t rude, just not very attentive. And even when she did speak she acted like she didn’t want to talk. Either way, the service was not good. Burro Floho is usually good however this is the 3rd time in two years the food hasn’t been up to par and not worth the price because it tastes terrible. I won’t we back for a long time if ever again??

The shrimp fajitas was out of this world. This place is the real deal. I love that as soon as you sit down they give you hot tortilla chips and you go to the salsa bar(?) where you get whatever accompaniment you like i.e cheese sauce, cilantro, salsa, salsa verde, and a bunch of other things.I usually have their seafood enchiladas (the best) but got the fajitas this time. My husband usually gets the carnitas. The ambience is nothing to write home about but isn't horrible either. With the food as good as it is, it won't make any difference. This is our very favorite Mexican restaurant. Hands down.Parking: Plenty of parking. It's right outside the door, flat walking.

Very mid tier when it comes to Mexican cuisine. The prices are a bit higher compared to other Knoxville Mexican restaurants options. Not the worst Mexican restaurant, but definitely far from the best. Service was very mid tier as well. First time trying this place and most likely the last time.

We looked up a Mexican restaurant between St. Macon, GA and Cincinnati, OH, off the i75 Highway."El Burro Flojo" was the best choice.Located in a plaza, with lots of parking available, this cheerful place is surrounded by rustic artistic touches. Simple decorations that will warm up your spirit. The food:- Two of us are vegetarians and my brother in law, carnivorous. We got:- a complimentary basket of chips- water with lime/lemon and ice- the use of a salsa bar (first time I see this)Our food was served within minutes of our requestsI ordered the Vegetarian Chimichanga with tomatoes, instead of "pico de gallo (contains onions). My spouse got the Vegetarian Fajitas. These came with sizzling Vegetables on a hot metal flat skillet and a separate dish with Mexican rice, bean purée, Lettuce and Tomatoes and sour cream. As well as a choice between flower and corn tortilla. My brother in law was happy with the "Burro Loco California. Which contained lots of chicken. We were all so very happy we came to "El Burro Loco". Everything tasted delicious ? ... We were served by Server #5, ¡Gracias #5!...We recommend "El Burro Loco" to all citizens of thse worldVegetarian options: Vegetarian ChimichangaVegetarian Fajitas...Lots of choices! They will also accommodate :)

Stopped in for lunch today, our first time here, party of 6. Waitress was very friendly and checked on us several times. Everyone's food was outstanding. Fajitas came with lots of chicken and not greasy at all, quesadillas were very big, taquitos mexicanos were spot on, lots of flavor, enchiladas were excellent. Portions sizes are great, reasonable prices, less than $90 for 6 people. Only complaint would be that the rice lacked seasoning, other than that Very satisfied. We will be back for sure!
